Thank you for this video Bob! I loved the practical example with the improvisation, I had this problem too (though at a beginner-level).
Trumpet is not a wind instrument. It's a brass not wind. However sax is a wind instrument.
It's a wind instrument. It uses air. A saxophone is part of the "wood"wind family. There are wind ensembles that have brass.

Nope, I try to breathe without any extra sound.
