That’s a good question. Here’s what I can tell you: this is Thom’s first game. As such, he wanted to be very conservative with his Kickstarter goal so he could just determine how much interest there is in the game. He recognized that there are a few things that could happen from here, and he’s open to various possibilities. He told me he would like to make a cheaper travel version, he told me he would sell the game on his website after the Kickstarter ended, but he did NOT say that he would be open to selling the game to a bigger publisher. However, given his open and probing attitude, I don’t think selling the rights to distribute the game is out of the question. In short: there are not plans for it to be released to retail, but that doesn’t mean it will never happen.
Looks fun! Great review, thanks
My pleasure!
Thanks for the great video and showing us what looks to be great social game.
Any idea if there is a plan for this game to be released to retail? Or is this going mainly be available through Kickstarter only?
