Horizon means nothing to me, just racing for 1st position, acquire God tier (Class A to S2) sports cars, hyper cars and winning in any possible way from these random story based events and for filling it's requirements. The rest and it's idiotic festivals are trash packets that needs to be ignored.

This gave me a whole lot of more respect for Scott, seeing as he's been living his life throughout every festival with the top superstars and having him go through the full nostalgia of the first game through 5, I enjoyed playing through this particular campaign alot, both for the story and nostalgia of playing through the previous games.
I just wish the last two chapters were separated into individual runs, so that if you try hard the sht out of the Lambo section, it’s not completely pointless
For me, the Horizon feels like a home just like Scott said. It is a home for those car enthusiasts who put their heart into a passion of driving their favourite car in the way they dreamed of, it is the place where the wildest dreams come true even if it is for a while and just imaginary. The Horizon just accepts you no matter who you are and literally throws anyone into a car heaven just so that one could experience the true feeling of an LS swapped R34.
Scott's last bit about what Horizon meant to him was the most human dialogue I've heard in this game. Also if they brought Alice and Dak for just a snip of dialogue on that 2012 walkie-talkie style audio, I'd probably start tearing up.

it's like seeing him as someone who was a regular radio host recruited to hype Horizon Colorado, to this overly-hyped man on Horizon, then back to his original self when it was Horizon Colorado. it's nice the devs still remember such minor detail. I'm too hopeful with this, but I think it's a direction to a better title.
sad that they didn't brought Alice back, such a sweet lady as for what Horizon means to me, well... I always enjoyed taking any car and tame it on the spot, no assists (not even ABS), later make an extreme track toy out of it and race it more. As much as I'm meh on FH4's map, Fred V's Sunrise (and the whole FH4 intro) is one of my top 10 gaming experiences. Sunrise is on my main Spotify playlist and play it anytime I need a good boost.

Whilst I don't play horizon much anymore and stopped playing midway through 4, horizon will always have a special place in my heart, I remember playing the demo of 1 thinking it was awesome and when I picked up 2 and listened to the woman count me down till I was in horizon still gives me goosebumps, 3 was huge and it felt fun to be the boss for a bit, loved blizzard mountain and was a god at infection there, 4 was very special to me as it had Edinburgh my home city, so I was very excited to get Edinburgh castle as a home, 5 is fun and all but I'm all out of steam from the last games, doesn't mean I won't come back to it soon, thanks horizon for making my childhood more fun.
I don't have a long history with Horizon, but looking back from the days I play FH3 very very casually, I believe Horizon just allows me to race and have fun in cars that is impossible for me to do in real life. Horizon allows me to race, build my own cars, and enjoy different experiences to my heart's content, and that's what makes Horizon enjoyable to me.
That's one way to pay tribute to your history. Horizon, to me, symbolizes continuity, that something's out there in the distance. Go henceforth the Horizon and you'll see new things you've never seen before.

What's it mean by win the first or second reward of the 10 year anniversary chapter ? Bc there's a badge for winning each reward. Now I won the Viper and I earned the Ferrari 599xx and the barracuda and I didn't win either badges? Is it a glitch or what am I missing ?
I never got to play the first 4 games because I was still studying and had no money for an Xbox. So up until last year, all I knew of the series was through UA-cam videos. When I got my gaming laptop (which is the first computer I've ever owned, I've just been borrowing laptops from my parents up until then), I was debating whether I should get FH4 now or wait for FH5 because I knew UK has run its course. FH5 was the first game I ever pre-ordered and so far, issues aside with the progression system and the fact that they give you an S1 class car at the very start, it's been great. So what does Horizon mean to me? It's a home. A home for us car enthusiasts where we own the key to the car(s) of our dreams, where we can take them out on the open road, go wherever we want, as fast as we want. Oh, and I bought FH4 yesterday.
u made the right choice, FH has better graphics and the map is massive compared to the 4, but the 4 is better in all the other aspects especially in the soundTrack, im still playing FH4 nowdays instead of 5 even played it in the release back in november of 2018. its just the best forza ever made.

The touches to give this campaign that nostalgic feel is certainly quite nice, but.. man as always, the overly forced positivity and over the top voice acting is just insanely grating. Scott doesn't sound like a real person whatsoever in terms of how they talk.

The voice acting is too over the top. I had to turn the volume right down during the hot wheels dlc just because that lady wouldn’t stop yelling and squealing and it was getting on my nerves so much. Same with this, Scott won’t stop yelling, my gosh settle down mate
What Horizon means to me, is that I can escape the real controlled world in todays society and drive around in hunderds of different cars and drive them like I stole them.
You can get to that by starting the anniversary missions. I think the trigger location is up in the top northwest corner of the map, north of the sand dune area. It's a yellow and black H icon I think.
Here's what I see, I see a passionate community that never ends, where car enthusiasts can be whatever they want to be, it's not just an initial dream anymore, whether we played Forza, Gran Turismo, or Need for Speed, what matters is that we all share our love for cars, that's the Community I see, and this game can definitely show you, don't go anywhere because of global warming and emissions, because the car enthusiasts are here to stay 17:26
Horizon 1 is still the best. It was actually about cars. Not about "followers" and making sure handicaped and "non-binary" people could feel represented. Just about cars. Plus the map was the best and the progression system was the best.

Horizon 1 is still the best. It was actually about cars. Not about "followers" and making sure handicaped and "non-binary" people could feel represented. Just about cars. Plus the map was the best and the progression system was the best.
