I have always been a fan of the 80's (Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode) but I could hardly find an adequate successor. Hurts comes very close to it. The sound and voice are excellent, and Hurts is actually my favourite band of current pop music. I am looking forward to listening to the new album in October!

+CarAudioXpert I never heard from a band called Capital Cities but I’ve just searched for it. Sorry, I don’t like that style. The speed is too fast and it sounds more like a happy music style. I prefer Britpop rather than American music. All my favorite music stars come actually from the UK. Sound and style are different, I can’t explain why but I feel it. Thanks for your suggestion but Capital Cities is nothing for me.
You people are acting like there is some kind of unwritten rule that music videos HAVE to have some kind of clear-cut linear narrative. A good music video is generally a visual aid for the music and in that respect, should stir and materialise whatever feelings or moods the music evokes within you. Hurts are a band who do this superbly time and time again.
i felt in love with Hurts after listening to their new single "ready to go". Then I decided immediately to buy some their albums. I'm already in anticipation of receivig my items. I can't stop watching their music videos right now. I haven't been seeing any more beatiful video in my whole life

MatthewXzibit The shame is that UK radios simply don't get behind them and play their music so they could write the best song ever written and it still wouldn't chart. Much better than some of the rubbish in the charts. :-(
What exactly are the 'Old Hurts'? I've got these 3 albums on shuffle most of the time and all I ever hear is techno music mastery, powerful depth, and sensational melody. Blended together. From one album to the next.
I want to thank this band Hurts by being open to my comments and being open to my relationship with a girl since 2014 i can in reality in the right opportunities really accept, and i still have to say that i still love her because she accepted to do my ambitions the way i can do best and so also proclaim what i have to proclaim in my nutral state of mind to power. I have now completed a related perspective of my personal musicrevolution. So this all is because why i don't mind that they made the album Surrender, thanks band Hurts!

Why the songs of this band aren't broadcast on television or radio ? They write very deep lyrics and they are very very good to interpreting them .... they should be first in the world rankings. I live in Italy and I never heard one of their songs on television and this is really very sad. Other than justin bieber and arianna grande which are only appearance . Why the world is full of silly little girls ? .-.
