I really like of how when Elphaba enters the Oz dust Ballroom, instead of leaving Nessa just moves to the side and during the Elphaba/Galinda dance you can see her and Boq also dancing, then when everyone sings, getting drinks.
I think it's really cool and interesting to hear the music in a different way!
I can't wait for a potential video of "For Good" and the melting scene.

The Ozdust Ballroom really had a great update where you’re having big fun.
Wie hast du es geschafft eine Video-Aufnahme zu machen. Ich war da 7 und 8 Juli und hat es versucht aber bin nicht weiter gekommen als eine vollständige Tonaufnahme des Musicals.
Nicht ich habe das aufgenommen, sondern eine Bekannte, es gibt da einen Trick aber den verrate ich hier besser nicht. Ein bisschen Glück gehört natürlich auch mit dazu. Und wirklich gute Qualität bekommt man so auch nur schwer hin.
@@saskiaj.993 Ich ahne nur das die Bekannte eine Handy-Kamera benutzt hast und um das zu Filmen die Kamera höher in die Hose gesteckt hast und die Aufnahme auf diesen Weg. gemacht hast.
@@DutchNostalgia Handy ist richtig, aber ganz so verstecken mussten wir es gar nicht mal, wegen dem Trick. (Ich saß neben ihr). Aber immer wenn wir einen Mitarbeiter gesehen haben, hat sie es runtergenommen, deswegen ist auch öfter nur die Decke drauf. Und wirklich sehen, was man filmt, konnte man so auch nicht. Und wir hatten halt Glück, dass die Plätze vor uns frei waren.
Wenn man nur eine Szene filmt, ist es wahrscheinlich nicht so auffällig, aber das ganze Stück so zu filmen, wäre schon riskant.

Elphaba talked to her sister Nessarose and said that she wanted to go to the library. Nessa tells her that she should go but she wants to stay (because she seems to actually be liked as long as Elphaba isn't with her). Elphaba wants to go alone and gets run over by Fiyero who is new in Shiz/Glizz. Fiyero, the typical badboy, makes fun of her but also is weirdly nice. Like he says he is still a little "green" (as in he is new and doesn't know a lot of stuff) but also says that that is okay and asks her if she is hurt. Elphaba says she isn't and that she is used to idiots like him. Then Boq/Moq talks to Galinda and wants to tell her his feelings but Galinda instead wants to talk to Fiyero.

@@leannehaddock6254 yeah it is a modernized version because they then hadn't had to pay the whole price for the license 😂 I saw the show a few times (over all like 10 times) so if you have any questions, feel free to ask ^^
@@tatarilp they had to pay people to design and create all new sets and costumes though. So it probably would have been cheaper to just stage another replica production lol
@@IHARumor actually not, no. I worked there and talked to some of the cast and backstage staff. they only got the license to the songy and the general story. They even changed the name from "Wicked" to "Wicked- Die Magie zwischen Gut und Böse". Yes, they had to pay someone to design the costumes and the staging. But if they had bought the license to it, they still would have needed people to make those things. It was a lot cheaper for them to do it themselves.

18. Reihe, im ersten Akt ist etwas reingezoomt, so sah es in etwa in echt aus. Im zweiten Akt ist komplett rausgezoomt, deshalb sieht es etwas weiter weg aus.
Can anyone translate the opening of the scene until elphaba leaves?
The new scene at the beginning is alright, however I prefer the original of how Elphaba almost got run over by Fiyero's cart.
Danke für das Teilen der Aufnahme. Plötzlich bin ich nicht mehr traurig, dass ich nicht nach HH fahren konnte. Was um alles in der Welt ist denn das für eine schräge Version? Warum muss man immer alles überarbeiten?! Gruselig. Und sehr, sehr schade.
Die Schauspieler machen eine sehr guten Job, leider sagt mir das moderne Ambiente überhaupt nicht zu. Ich habe das Musical 2x in Oberhausen gesehen und es ist mein absolutes Lieblingsmusical. Daher bin ich doch sehr voreingenommen und habe echt Probleme mit dem neuen Umfeld.
I don’t like it . The genre of music they switched it too doesn’t fit the show. It’s sounds too sci-fi
I think this production leans a lot to the sci-fi side...

You do realize the original version, everyone is wearing the Shiz uniforms, just they're in independent and unique styles.
Schöne Aufnahme! Leider gefällt mir das neue Bühnenbild überhaupt nicht mehr!! Mochte das Original wie in Oberhausen viel lieber!!! Aber das ist nur meine Meinung!
Es ist natürlich anders. Aber ich finde wenn man es live sieht kommt es ganz anders rüber als wie hier in einem Video

es wurden weil es ja eine No-Replica Inszenierung ist nur die Lizenzen für Musik gekauft. Wir hatten mehrfach erwähnt das man diese Version als eigenständiges Musical interpretieren sollte und das man das Original vom Broadway am besten nicht damit vergleichen sollte.
@@tobixbo6140 Sorry! Ich hab halt das alte gesehen und die Musik ist gleich, deswegen kann ich nicht leicht als eigenständige Musical sehen! Und Wicked heißt es ja noch! Wer neu reingeht hat es leichter!!

Ja, deswegen wurde es von uns auch neu Inszeniert um den Menschen wie dir, ein „neues“ Erlebnis zu bieten, aber auch Menschen ansprechen zu können, welche Wicked vorher noch nicht kannten:)
Das ist einer der vielen Gründe für eine Neuinszenierung.

Haha, genau das selbe habe ich auch gedacht. Habe vor ein paar Jahren eine Tourproduktion von Greas gesehen, da gab es in der Lokalzeitung ein Review dazu, da stand dann "Teletubbies auf Speed" was es echt damals getroffen hat und genau so wirkt das hier auch 🤦♀️

A black Fiyero is surreal, considering he's described as brown in the book yet in the og musical he's often played by white actors.
The orchestrations are awesome, but some of the set is awful icl..

Nur die neue Version. Die original Version von vor ein paar Jahren entspricht ungefähr der am Westend/Broadway. Es sollte neu inszeniert werden XD
Fiyero ist schwach.
Also Fiyero, Nessa und Moq überzeugen nicht wirklich. Elphaba ist auch gewöhnungsbedürftig....
Glinda ist sehr gut.
Oh, ich finde Fiyero gesanglich auch nicht so gut, also gegen Glinda und Elphaba wirkt er viel zu schwach. Aber die anderen finde ich durchaus überzeugend.
Das muss man live sehen! Der Hamburger Cast ist wirklich toll und sehenswert!
@@musicalsuchtig5719 Das stimmt! Die Live-Erfahrung ist natürlich deutlich anders als im Video.
Ich hab es aktuell 3x in HH gesehen. Und der Großteil des Ensembles war mega gut. Nur Fiyero kommt stimmlich nicht an die anderen heran. Außerdem ist der Akzent beim Sprechen und Singen echt krass. Das gefiel mir persönlich nicht.
@@countd4387 tatsächlich scheint es daran zu liegen, wo man sitzt. Wir sitzen immer 11. bis 13. Reihe und man verstehtalles super. Die Akustik ist da wirklich top. Meine Freundin saß in der dritten Reihe und hat die selbe Problematik geschildert. Hattet ihr denn auch Naidjim? Ich finde ihn tatsächlich stimmlich, zusammen mit Vajèn und Jeannine am besten. War mittlerweile auch schon 4 mal da.
This just seems like a high school there is not really anything magical over it…
