Something rare just happened. I saw your discord and just joined it. One minute later discords cloudflare banned me? This has never happened before. Bravo! Find the helpful.. Just a quick question , is it okay to atleast purchase cubes and unlock some modules just in cases we can’t the monthly or yearly subscription plan. With purchasing cubes only for specific modules , is the labs accessible ?

Which HTB path are you working on? I'm working through several paths myself and am really grateful for your walkthroughs! You help with breaking down sections I don't understand.
I appreciate the support. Im not working on any paths. I am well past this content in my career. Im trying to make it approachable for new members to cybersecurity.
@@stuffy24 oh okay, thanks for your reply! at the beginning of the video you mentioned you were following a path. I guess I didn't mean what path are you personally taking, but what path are you following for the sake of making videos. I finished all of the introductory paths and was going to proceed with Pentester, but when I learned about Bug Bounties I decided to pivot and do the Bug Bounty path first instead. The hope is that I'll be able to put a few dollars in my pocket as I continue down other paths.

There is none because htb doesn't allow it

Hey, stuffy. I want to thank you for your help so far. But I do have a question. I did the scans, but when I tried to put in the IP and robots.txt in the address bar after I found it through the scan it often said there was an error loading the page, timed out. What is up with that?

I didn't really know about the VPN part. I saw it but I didn't realize I had to interact with it. I thought it was just highlighted text. I'll try again tonight and let you know what happens.

When I do these scans in browser vm it takes less time to produce outcome, but with my own vm it takes forever... Any reason?
@digitalturan could be distance the network travels or lack of resources on your vm compared to theirs

my scans don't work, I came to watch this video to figure out why. Now I know that I did understand it correctly but my scans still don't work. Since the scans in the video were done off camera, I can't compare. So i'm still lost as all hell, but nice video anyways
I showed all syntax. I'm assuming your not connecting to the VPN or something. If you hop on the discord you can post to questions I'll take a look with a screenshot
@@stuffy24i'm definitely connected to the vpn. But the scan doesn't work unless I use the -Pn flag and even then the scan just times out

Hey man I have watched some of your content and I have created videos for HTB Academy in the past. Let me warn you if you continue to make videos they will put in copy right strikes against your channel in a way that would shut it down completely. It happened to me. I recommend you take these down because they don't play around. Luckily, I talked to the right person and got it removed but I had to take down all the videos I made for HTB Academy.

Well when they copyright strike it I will take them down. I don't make money off UA-cam there are alot of ppl that can't afford these modules and won't get to do the hands on labs so the least I can do is attempt to help them gain some knowledge and understanding
