- so all Chinese bikes are rubbish beware??? or are they, Musings and discussions about Chinese bikes and the prejudice, buying, talking about or owning one generates a whole lot of prejudice. it's fine being a patriot, if you can show that your products are better.

Thanks for the comments, I think the drivers seat is going for long distance riding, although my wife finds the rear harder than our Vstrom. I am going to buy a couple of Gel seat covers and try them.

Thanks for commenting, fuel consumption has increased, but this could be several factors. I am riding harder now I am nearer 2000km, I have been riding a lot Two up with my wife. So the overall average over 2000km is now 4.9, It was at 4.2 before the 1000km service. What I have noticed is it's running cooler, but I leave it ticking over a little longer before starting off because of the viscosity. Gear changes are getting better with KMs so I cannot give credit to the 20w 50 oil. Ride safe ✌️

I ride a gsx s1000gt but i bought a cfmoto cl700x heritage as a secound bike absulutly love it had it 4 months nw not a problem with it always take it out for a blast on a sunday an use it for cumuteing.
I got a ATV from Cfmoto and have it a year now and never any problem it is solid and good so not all from China is "rubbish"

i test rode a dsx525 a couple of weeks ago here in the UK and for the value for the money IT WAS GREAT ! my triumph T120 2016 is made in thailand with parts sourced from all over ; is the seat height on the 900 higher than the 525 just asking
Yes the seat height on the DSX 900 is 825mm with higher seat options coming. The 525 is a smidge higher at 830mm hope this helps
I think you are right about where things are headed and all the rest and have no concern about nearly all Asian countries. I do however don't like the Chinese rhetoric about dominating the world and feel negative about funding their campaign against us, maybe you have an answer for that one.
Well the Problem then becomes political as opposed to economical. If we go down the political route we are looking at ‘glass houses ‘ and whole can of hidden agenda, not from Asia but from closer to home.

Thankfully, we have a global economy which gives us more choice. Where is that superb twisty road, and where is all the traffic. Such a difference from the crowded roads here in the UK.

@@paulsherwood6010 it's amazing value and build quality for the money. Here in Spain there a few second hand versions for sale higher than the original sale price due to the 6 month order wait. Everything works great. Gets better with more KMs really opens up.

Download the voge Global app, connect to the bike wifi the code is 12345678. Then insert a SD card. From the app click on the camera icon, then settings and format the SD card. After that it should start working automatically when you start your bike.

For wifi, remove the seat, you will see a black box on the side facing the fuel tank there is a rubber cover, remove that and install the card in the slot behind
I'm not pro one country over any other, it's the covert nature of perception as well as un founded national pride to the point of chopping your hand off to feed your face. In the future we will have a global government, but even then it will be contested by small minded nations who think that no one will tell them what to do. Sorry old chap, but I'd rather walk. DL650 may not have all the bells and whistles, but in 10 years it will be happily motoring down the road and your new bike will be in a parts pile behind some guy's shop. Long live the V Strom, not the P Strom.
Everyone is entitled to there opinion. Not a problem, but remember when Chinese bikes hit Europe and the US, many were cloned under license. There was the same sentiment about them it was only a couple of decades after the Japanese aggression of WW2. The Chinese were supported by the US in that war. So perception is a strange thing. How about Apple building all there stuff in China? I am sure my Voge will stand the test of time, Top components and a BMW approved Engine. Ride safe. Ps I have owned many Suzuki motorcycles, considered here in Europe at the cheap end of the Japanese bike market, but yes bullet proof.

Here's a better looking set up. Works perfectly for 16€ it's great until Givi come through. Not really bothered how it looks as long as the ride is good. 2000 km in the first 6 weeks ✌️

@@Irishrover1 I'm really enjoying the DSX 900, it's getting better with more KMs. For the price it's crazy with the components and the tech included.
@@motechRevolution the only thing they need to improve on mine was the seat it was like sitting on a plank and the pillion was worse. The super meteor 650 touring is excellent 👍

I sit on Ducati Desertx it simply feels like chinese bike build quality vise and they want 17k euros for it..Would not buy BMW purely out of hate i have for them bcs of their unfair pricing
Yes it's true, lots of European brands are way too pricey just for a name . Benelli are offering the new TRK 702 with full luggage for €7999 on the road. Crazy prices.
