I learned it as the 3 second rule. It kind of depends on the particular floor (garage vs clean kitchen) and the food (eg. a pecan half vs piece of chicken). I'm not a real fan of the rule. It's pretty much the "touch the floor" rule. I would also be interested in seeing what you suggest.
Dude, this is so helpful. I have to supplement with probiotics due to an autoimmune disorder, it makes such an enormous difference in my health. I'm always looking for new/better sources, but this--this is proof! Thank you! 🙏
I am enjoying your videos so much! Could you do one on probiotics vs germs? It would be super interesting to see if the claim of probiotics reducing yeast/bad bacteria holds any merit!
I want to see how purple uv light (or other light?) can be used to disinfect a room. how effective is it? And what's the difference between a direct light and reflected light?
I'd like to see you dissolve some crystals from all kinds of different chemicals and let them dry on the plate and see how they crystalize as they dry. I'd even be willing to provide the chemicals free of charge. I have some really cool ones and it wouldn't take much of each, not even a gram in most cases. Just be sure to research each and be prepared to dispose of them, or I can have you send them back for processing for free as well. No problem at all. 😃
Too bad you don't have access to gastric juices to drop them into for 30 minutes to see if they live through it. I'd love to know if they survive or not.
Maybe could you do a video where you take some dirt etc, out of the bottom of your shoe and look at it underneath a microscope. I think that's pretty cool! (.Also new sub.)
Let’s goooo! I wanted this one. That’s so cool. Makes me wonder if you used different ph water what might change when the heat is added, if any. Thanks for sharing again!
It'd be interesting to see you add something that simulates stomach acid. I think diluted hydrochloric acid is basically whats in your stomach. I'd be interested to see if the probiotics actually survive or not.
Can you make a short about Laundry Detergent Anti-bacs? i think it's really beautiful to see if it can really kill germs that that are stuck underneath our clothes. Also the brand so we know what to buy! 😁
Hey if you haven't done it already can you show what bacteria looks like when it's getting hit with a UV light under the microscope? I've seen sanitizer and rubbing alcohol and I know what happens to the cell when they come into contact with the bacteria but I genuinely have no idea why a UV light just kills bacteria like that.
If I recall it correctly, this is what happens: When microorganisms are hit with UV light it triggers a reaction that "destroys" the DNA. The energy of the UV light gets absorbed by thymine which causes it to build dimers (two thymine bond with each other) and thereby change the dna sequence. This also means that the microorganism isn't capable of producing essential proteins any more.
Ive drank this before, tastes great, but dayum was it strong. If u drink this maybe play by the rules of kombucha and dont it all im one sitting if ur new to it
Why do they need to be alive for the microbiome to be able to eat them? I'd think their broken down nutrients would be enough? Or if they are broken down, will our body absorb them before our microbiome?
Interesting, would you want to digest carbs and protein better? I kno that doesn’t sound intuitive, but if your more efficient in processing what you eat, you get more out of it, meaning that carb that gave you a bit of sugar now gives your more? Would you gain weight faster because of this? Or am not doing science right ? Lol
That's cool if they help you but fun fact: there's only a tiny amount of people who are actually deficient and need probiotic supplements. We get them naturally from food so all these drinks and supplement companies are just ripping people off when we could just eat food packed with probiotics like yogurt, kimchi or pickles. Drinking is definitely easier when your stomach is upset though so kombucha is another good source.
@skinsey85 my doctor told me I need the yogurt with probiotics in it due to my issues so I have one a day and if I feel extra blah then I drink one of those.
You can’t see antibodies with any form of microscope (even an electron microscope) - they are composed of several chains of amino acids. They really are tiny, even compared to bacteria
hai bro, excellent contents ❤🎉, can you do - nitrifying beneficial bacterias products for aquarium cycle , ex - Seachem Stability, API quickstart , etc2, thanks in adnvance 🙏😁
Hey brother, can you do a 10 second rule test? Drop something on the floor for 10 seconds vs something for a minute? Solve the age old question.
Mythbusters did a whole ep on it.
@@RealEstateInsider247 5 second rule is what I heard... a load of rubbish though haha
@MetziTzah B'peh That's not what it's about. lol
They did a study on that already and it's true but depending on the surface. But the longer it's on the floor the more germs it attracts.
Finally some 'informant stuff that I probably should have paid for.' I really appreciate this.
"can even survive baking"
i'm glad these guys aren't our enemies

Which probiotics do you use
What autoimmune disease do you have? I'm developing a new treatment for autoimmune diseases.
@bigd.4112Well, probiotics can help with some Digestive autoimmune diseases.
I love this and can you do sea shells or just something ocean related under tge microscope??
I am enjoying your videos so much! Could you do one on probiotics vs germs? It would be super interesting to see if the claim of probiotics reducing yeast/bad bacteria holds any merit!
Now could you do one that has the cultures already in it to see how active they still are?
or the dried probiotic supplements reactivated in distilled water.
or yogurt!
I just started drinking karma and this video is pleasing! I’m happy about the choice to try it. Good information here. Thank you!
Love how these little dudes help us out😂
Or kill us, depending on which little dudes you're referring to. 😓
@@v-22Obviously the one the video is about
This is fantastic. My brother grabbed me a bottle one day and we had a great discussion about all these aspects you covered here.
Thanx!

I F****** LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!!
Thanks. I just started drinking this water and I love it.
One of the most creative ads I've ever seen. Bravo for sliding it in as science! 👏🏾
Appreciate that! ❤️ Unfortunately, I'm not sponsored and just saw this at Kroger! If KARMA sees this, though, I'd totally be down haha

TRY EFFECT OF GARLIC ON BACTERIA.....
LETS SEE IF GARLIC HAS ANTI BIOTIC PROPERTIES
I love these, please do 9+ alkaline water vs. bacteria (and or mold)!

He could technically synthesize it. Nile Red and Close Intel collaboration?
not yet he doesn't

Wow, you have a new Sub here, man! Well done! Love your Vids! Can't wait to see what else you show us under a microscope! So informative! Thanks!
It's so cool to think about bacteria that's good for you. Like these little dudes just want to help you digest food better and they benefit from it.
Let's see a used kitchen sponge after two weeks of normal use. And normal dirty dishes that have been sitting, wet, in the sink for a few days.
Un opened Bottled water that has been left in the sun in a hot environment for a few days
Wow! No words. Thank you

Your channel can be a legitimizer to many products out there.
Great video exactly what I was looking for abt this stuff
Today I wondered what you might see in rain gutter water
It'd be interesting to see you add something that simulates stomach acid. I think diluted hydrochloric acid is basically whats in your stomach. I'd be interested to see if the probiotics actually survive or not.
That's a good ideia because I wonder rif they do too.
Bacteria are such silly little dudes
Man I love how I learn multiple different things and it’s interesting all in a tiny video
I'd love to see a probiotic like this digest a carb
Or even something like beano eat up some foods ibs folks struggle with
Hey guy, I really enjoy your video 🙌🏽💕 have you done a sliver of any raw meat under the microscope?
I enjoy this stuff, so awesome! Thank you!
This is really cool stuff! How powerful is your microscope?
Soil sample to see what life there is around the root zone of a plant

If I see one of these, I'mma buy it. They should've paid you!
Kinda sounded like an ad tbh
Would’ve been cool to add similar pH acid to the samples to see if the claim holds up.
I think Karma's sales may have just gone through the roof.
I'd like to see cartilage to help understand why it deteriorates and causes osteoarthritis
can you do childrens pool water please?

When you leave a video game controller for a long time the thumb sticks get really gross and wet. Can you look at it under a microscope?
What
With summer coming you should do pool water with bodily fluids!
Nice video. This is what I wanted to know.
Can you not add a bit of saliva then stomach acid to see if anything survives
Which is exactly why I make sourdough bread and homemade wine and fermented foods
All you really need to do is eat sauerkraut and more fiber
Right I eat sauerkraut.
Fermented vegetables.
But the pasteurized sauerkraut might be useless. It's a processed food.
Means a lot seeing this I love those probiotic drinks 😋
Best ad, I guess I'll try it out.
Use bicarb under the microscope and use it on germs
Have you ever looked at kombucha, store bought vs live culture.
Would running it under the water have the same affect of the heat inside our body?
Do we *know* the non-spore-forming don't survive? I've heard that claim, but others saying it's false. Is there literature on this?

Yakult under microscope please! And Vitagen and Calpis.
Yooo I actually drank the pink karma and the blue one too. They were pretty good
This is fascinating
They should advertise it as an enema
Very neat insight
Very impressive scientific test.
I want to see what's crawling around on the door handle of a gas station

Have you ever done bakers yeast?
As a finally, you should have added 4% hydrochloric acid, no?
Who else came here to see how to open up the stupid bottle?
Yakult, have had a look at the probiotics in the drink?
Big help see if this will help with my acid reflux and gout.
Tart cherry juice knocks gout right out. Do not add any form of sugar or juice. You can add water if needed but that's it
I’m confused so is the drink good or not ?
So drink it hot like tea ?
Could you look at makeup under the microscope? It's crazy how they put all kinds of crap in there.
Why do they need to be alive for the microbiome to be able to eat them? I'd think their broken down nutrients would be enough?
Or if they are broken down, will our body absorb them before our microbiome?
What? The goal is for them to be LIVING in your microbiome, you're trying to add them to the biome, the goal isn't for them to be food.
@@ApothercyCold ah, I thought it was food for existing microbome

do GT Dave's kombucha. the green one. the others too if you want.

Generally speaking most people will absorb almost all the available carbs and protein in their food. If not then usually they have some disease.
Hey bro you could show this killing h pylori? Or anything that can ? How to kill the bio film protecting it ?
So did this drink pass the test?
