    Hi! Thanks for your opinion 😊
    For names kids on pillows and just inicial , what Oxford number size do you recommend? The fabric will be linen. The yarn is drops Paris (medium weight/worsted/aran .

      Hi there!
      For your yarn weight, I'd use an Oxford Fine punch needle. Your number size will depend on how tall you want the names to be (the 8 will give you the tallest loops, while the 14 will give you the shortest).
      Hope this helps!

      @raquelqueiroga7796 It really depends on what you want!
      Do you want a pillow with fluffier loops? Go with a higher number, like 8 or 9.
      Do you want the shortest loops possible? Go with the 13 or 14.
      Want something in the middle? Go with the 10.

    Thank you so, so much for making this, it’s been the most helpful video I’ve found! I am looking for the right yarn to use while taking a Domestika class-the instructor, Mauro Frazao, creates really cool depth by creating tall loops and sculpting/cutting parts down
    They say to use a more structured yarn to achieve this effect more easily but I am so lost on what I’m even looking for 😩 do you have any advice?

      thank you so much, i'm glad you found my video helpful! :)
      you bring up a great question--i think that by "structured yarn", they mean a yarn with more plys that's woven more tightly. for instance, i wouldn't use a single-ply yarn or wool roving for sculpting.
      i use the sculpting technique often in my work, and have found the three yarns in my video to be great for sculpting! :)

    When why and where to use fabric glue

    • @vrindagold
      @vrindagold  Місяць тому

      Great question!
      Contrary to popular belief, you don’t actually need to use any glue with punch needle! The spacing and density of punch needle stitches allows them to stay in place without glue. Glue will also damage and degrade the fibres in your work, and leave it unrepairable.
