The creatures from the Alien franchise are steadily being built back up to being a galactic level extinction event in their core film lore. Which was the original intention with early written concepts and some ideas that got left out of the final original film to allow the creatures to be more mysterious without explaining away every single detail about them. Like the creatures' ability to speak and understand language as well as mimic voices, and their origin being intended to be full on Lovecraftian and Eldritch in nature.

Sure if a standard xenomorph infection, of some unfortunate individual accidentally getting face hugged, forgets about it because facehuggers make you forget, they get back on their spaceship, the alien Slaughter's everyone, the ship lands, and then the xenomorph goes to town. Xenomorphs are not going to have a fun time dealing with the Marvel world. But this is a pre-planned multiplanetary Invasion the thing created by a machine. The real world has DNA printing companies, this is what enables some UA-camr in his basement to put graphene sheets into yeast silk that's dyed pink. And I'm not even exaggerating about that part, this stuff is stronger than what Spider-Man's silk would have been in order to stop that train in that one movie. And the papayas were genetically altered before the internet was invented if I remember correctly. And this is a Sci-Fi setting with established gene splicing crossing over in a Sci-Fi world that has actual bombs giving birth to superheroes because radiation Alters dna. Shirley a synthetic being could go to any of Wolverine's crime fighting scenes, swipe a Q-tip in some of the blood that he left behind because the Wolverine can heal good but he can still bleed, and then splice that with a Xenomorph chestburster. And this is ignoring that they could probably create gamma ray bursts of their own because they are the antagonist and so the writer gives them what they need to achieve their initial goal. They could gamma-ray burst a wolverine xenomorph, and it would arguably be better without adamantium. Because in the comic issue where Wolverine lost the adamantium their abilities further developed. Imagine a 12-foot tall bulletproof behemoth that can heal from any damage given to it, if you vaporize it it turns into acidic mist, if you stab it your weapon gets dissolved, if you bludgeon it then it dissolves everything around it, and it's got a built-in blade. That is what you can do with One Singular Xenomorph , and in Marvel there's probably a pre-existing villain evil enough to do that. They don't even need a synthetic, just have one of them super villains that build Tech really good, have them swab a couple fight scenes for blood, maybe sneak into wherever these mutants sleep and then swab their mouth, then do some sci-fi techno whatever nonsense that the audience probably isn't going to understand very well. And nothing on Earth would stand a chance. Xenomorphs once they developed past the chestburster phase already are stronger and more durable and arguably faster than whatever their house is, applying that to the Hulk alone would be able to kill just about anything on the Marvel Earth with ease. The Xenomorphs could have actually been a plausible threat, but oh boy they didn't get handled that way properly.

Has some real promise. To me theres just been a real lack of writing in all of comics. Hickman and Aaron are usually firing on all cylinders and Scott Snyder but most arcs are drawn out too long til you just dont care or wrapped up in one lackluster conclusion issue that seems no thought was given to. Idk, maybe its just my age showing... I grew up on Claremonts X-Men and Millers Daredevil and the last days of Stans Soapbox lol. Excelsior!
So the hulk can walk through magma which is over 2k degrees Fahrenheit unscathed and unbothered yet xemomorph acids harm him. Spidermans's spider sense doesn't work anymore? All of these heroes have been nerfed to tell a story and that's OK 😊. It's not 616.
Hulk has been getting less durable since 2010! His hide used to be impenetrable except for Adamantium! Today, Steel, wood, bone, arrows, bullets, claws knives swords all penetrate Hulk's hide and sever his parts.
My thoughts, questions, and sentiments exactly. For a minute i was thinking they had to depower the Marvel universe to give the xenomorphs a plausible chance in it. But, y’all reminded me that they’ve been messing with Hulk and other character’s for years. They’ve been depowering the Hulk since World War Hulk. Really? What specifically was good about it? It was super convoluted. So many mutants alone could solo xenos. Not to mention powerhouses like Thor,Hulk, Weapon H, Darwin,Sentry, people with tech Like Iron Man would take them out. Look at black panther tech and how well it worked. I was kinda thinking like. The story would be so much more believable if “patient zero” of the xenomorph was like, gladiator or something, and then the infestation started with a super xenomorph with his DNA, would actually give the aliens a chance against the superheroes

The Wakandans killed the xenomorphs too easily at the beginning of the issue. Their acid blood wasn't highlighted either in the spaceship. At least the mutants fled to Mars. I wonder if the xenomorphs managed to feed on Apocalypse. If so, it would make for a terrifying Alien queen.
@@Kingfatmac not quite. The way to level up the xenos is to have them feed on superpowered people and the "offspring" would end up being a hybrid of the two, having superpowers as well. For instance a xeno that feasted on a Skrull would end up with some shapeshifting powers. If a xeno fed on someone "Omega" level like Hulk or Apocalypse, that offspring would be uber powerful, especially if its a xeno queen.
@roberthemedes1064 The face huggers would have to catch the heroes first. And to be honest, the hero's reflexes are way too fast to be caught by one. The only way that they will be stronger is if they did a experiment on them, but a standard alien cannot fight a hero from marvel. Unless that hero is street based, like daredevil

No suspension of disbelief needed. Xenomorphs actively wiped out what’s considered to be legit gods in their mythos. If not by strength then by numbers. Thor would not be the first person capable of wiping and army that’s fallen to them.

The Avengers stopped a symbiote outbreak, but they couldn't stop the aliens?
Wanda? Strange? The only thing that makes s3nse would be the idea that they listed with someone/something really powerful, and produced a TRULY powerful drone/queen that decimated billions, that EVENTUALLY got killed.
Otherwise..... ut doesn't make sense.
Also, this is the FIRST time that a symbiote has encountered a face hugger?? I'm not buying it. It's cool, but hickman is playing extra fast and loose.....

Really? What specifically was good about it? It was super convoluted. So many mutants alone could solo xenos. Not to mention powerhouses like Thor,Hulk, Weapon H, Darwin,Sentry, people with tech Like Iron Man would take them out. Look at black panther tech and how well it worked. Be honest what was good about it? I'm genuinely asking for someone to make the case to change my mind

Zombies I understand, Godzilla I can kinda get.... BUT HOW ON THIS EARTH THEY ARE ON DO THEY EVEN HOPE TO STOP SEVERAL HULKS, A BILLIONAIRE WITH LITERAL GODLIKE ARMOR, THE SPIDER PEOPLE WHOM LEGITIMATELY GONE TOE TO TOE WITH THE PRIOR MENTIONED, MAGICIANS, GODS, ETC.
The story is interesting but it’s very hard to believe the xenos would be able to take over the earth with the sheer amount of highly powerful heroes and villains. It’s clear they’re giving the xenos some serious plot armor while also nerfing every hero and villain.
Still a cool story that I always wanted to see when I was a kid.

I was kinda thinking like. The story would be so much more believable if “patient zero” of the xenomorph was like, gladiator or something, and then the infestation started with a super xenomorph with his DNA, would actually give the aliens a chance against the superheroes

I’m actually so sick of Myles getting some crazy power up. I used to like the character but in 616 he just falls flat and has become annoying now.

The Wakandans killed the xenomorphs too easily at the beginning of the issue. Their acid blood wasn't highlighted either in the spaceship. At least the mutants fled to Mars. I wonder if the xenomorphs managed to feed on Apocalypse. If so, it would make for a terrifying Alien queen.
Tbh either way the xenomorphs shouldn't even be a problem for the heroes or villains
@@Kingfatmac not quite. The way to level up the xenos is to have them feed on superpowered people and the "offspring" would end up being a hybrid of the two, having superpowers as well. For instance a xeno that feasted on a Skrull would end up with some shapeshifting powers. If a xeno fed on someone "Omega" level like Hulk or Apocalypse, that offspring would be uber powerful, especially if its a xeno queen.
@roberthemedes1064 The face huggers would have to catch the heroes first. And to be honest, the hero's reflexes are way too fast to be caught by one. The only way that they will be stronger is if they did a experiment on them, but a standard alien cannot fight a hero from marvel. Unless that hero is street based, like daredevil

No suspension of disbelief needed. Xenomorphs actively wiped out what’s considered to be legit gods in their mythos. If not by strength then by numbers. Thor would not be the first person capable of wiping and army that’s fallen to them.
What if…. The Avengers fought Aliens? If the aliens have powers, Hickman stole that idea from Storm Watch!
Basicly lol, same as dc did in 2007. It will basically be a one shot story and won't play into the main 616.
