I am a subscriber to this channel because I love clue so much but this series has 4 advert breaks every half hour episode so about every 7mins and it is just too much . I can't listen . You tube is ruining it.

@@m.j.nicholls thanks. I really appreciate all the downloads , I wouldnt want you to think I was having a pop at you , just the platform. One thing that really annoys me with the ads is how they split a joke , there's no thought goes into their placement , just another algorithm - a stupid one.
It shows how popular these shows still are as they are infested with ads, some every 2 minutes. Ridiculous
I took m.j's advice with the adblock plus and it has transformed my enjoyment to a whole new level. Definitely do it .
I use that, and it is fantastic, but youtube eventually detects it, and will prevent access until you turn it off. The good news is that although the ad placement is just as random, it is much, much less frequent, at least in my experience, than it was before, with only a few ads per video. It's annoying but bearable. UA-cam has gotten more officious and pusillanimous of late, in my opinion, and this is a good example. @@m.j.nicholls
I've enjoyed all of Tim's partners over the years (he never knew) but Sandi Toksvig is undoubtedly the best candidate for permanent Jeremy Hardy replacement out of all of them. She just "gets it" in my opinion. Tony Hawks comes a very creditable second.

@@australiainfelix7307 Ms Toksvig really p****d me off, and I suspect, quite a few other devotees, when in an early episode she simply had to bring up the fact that there hadn't been many female guests on the show. I'm not arguing with the verity of her statement, but for God's sake take it up with the producer and BBC. Leave it out of the recordings. That's so NOT what ISIHAC is about.
She used to be very funny before she came out as a lesbian, and all she does now is bang on about her and her " wife ". 🤮
