I installed 2 of the flush double pickups in my twin screw prather 31inch deep vee they work good. I added 4 brass exits to simulate exhaust system And ran my water outlet in the false exhaust system. Great video
You can anneal and harden brass the same way you do with steel, but the temperature process works in reverse. To soften brass, heat it until it's cherry red, then quickly cool it in water. It will bend easily with less tendency to kink. To harden it up, heat it again to cherry red and let it cool slowly over time. Gradually move the torch away from the piece and let the temperature come down over a minute or two.
Love the hull mounted water pic up was thinking about doing that on my FT011. There's two small screws the go through the hull on each side of stuffing tube. But not sure of plastic hull
1 to 1 & rc boats use thru hull water pickups to cool there power systems, endless amount of cool water to run Through the motors no need to recycle water adding weight with a Reservoir inside the boat.

Noted ✅️. Thanks for the input 👍
she's looking nicer everytime I see it! love dubbel motor v hull now 4 sure!😁

Roger that! I've had some experience with annealing & tempering steel but never tried brass. I'll definitely keep this in mind.

Wow slick as shit man
Peut. On. Metre. Un. Ventilateur. Pour. Refroidir. ?
You can but water cooling is more efficient effective
HI B Did you get the pictures i emaild you?
I just saw them, the boat came out great. Paint & decals really set it off
you know, I've always wondered why RC boats don't just run some internal closed loop water cooling system, like for a CPU
Weight and complexity. You need pumps, tanks, and radiators in addition to everything else.

Loving this build, almost as much as Lucas Oil Drag boat, I love the drag boats, anywho can’t wait to see it in the water BIG B, BOAT GANG!!!
