The contestants want to make music for those people and the rest of the population, so it only makes sense to let the people judge cuz they are the audience of the music (they are the ones who are gunna listen to the music on the radio and buy the albums), the judge table is more for professional critiques and guidance

I think the part that I would have found disrespectful if I were Megan was him saying that I'm saying mean or hurtful things. Like Megan's job is to critique the talent. And she simply stated that she wasn't as excited as she usually was and she felt like he may have over sang the song or just picked a bad song. And for him to call her out like in front of everyone. Nothing that Megan said after th battle was mean or hurtful. If she was saying rude things off the camera and jason was bothered by that he should have taken that to her in private. If he says that Megan was being hurtful then he's either too arrogant to understand not everyone is going to be impressed by him, or he's too soft to handle the bluntness and honesty that comes in the industry. It's a sad truth, but you don't get to where you want to be by being nice or by telling other people to be nice.

Evvie is so amazing. She deserved this. She and Zhavia were the true artists up on that stage this entire season. Both of them have equally amazing voices, they just express their voices in different styles and ways. Evvie is so adorable and grateful, she's such an amazing person it seems. Zhavia follows right in that path and she had it rough, but pulled through. Congrats to Evvie man. She was amazing.
