Nice Lore vid, the combination of the music as well as the visuals helps it be a bit more interesting than a lot of lore vids of some droll dude just talking as if he is reading a text book
@@voidstofull578 Its better than nothing, and I can tell you put effort into it and thats all I need. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the Warp Runners
Thank you for this! But... Where did you got this info of lore? Because according with the lore (adeptus titanicus suplements). Phaeton was forced to give 1/3 of there forces to Mars. But what they did was put up a vast fleet and instead of given the forces to Mars, they gone and founded Atar-Medium (Legio Atarus). Legio Osedax is the parent legio of Legio Atarus, the last act of defience and insult to Mars.
you sir, are a sneaky person, you are correct from what I have seen they did actually found Legion Atarus and I was planning on addressing it for that legion's video. As for the blockade that wasn't mentioned in the latest Loyalist Legio book but it would "ABSOLUTLY" fit the legions lore.
Totally agreed, I assumed the latest book superseded this as the entry, Loyalist Legions does not mention Oesdax launching a fleet in opposition. But I totally could have mentioned a statement in contention. I made a call but am very glad to see there are passionate individuals willing to call it out.
Osedax have another colour scheme that is older( imperial armour 12) white, blue/white checked and orange head carapace. Gold trimmed..... It's from a campaign that is from modern years so to speak e.g 41 millennium not the heresy.
lmao I totally agree I wasn't sure how to address that without it being also being weird and unnecessarily long winded, dually noted I'll see if I can find a fix for the next legion and thank you for the input!
@Tom Payne The laste sentece in the Loyalist Legios book about Osedax is a little bit longer: "Though in addition to these forces the Legio Osedax had always maintained a well-equipped force of siege Titans, their Princeps uniquely skilled in the reduction of enemy fortifications and often considered excessive in their zeal for the task."
This are the droids I was looking for. Many thanks VtF for this Basilisk of a Legio lore.
More to come!
Lore videos are always appreciated
