Robert's voice is a gift for humanity
Anything he says sounds cool. After this show, as he was leaving the venue some fans kept asking for selfies and he said “will you stop asking me for selfies I’m 62” and even that sounded soothing. One of my favourite vocals of his is Wrong Number.
His lyrics too. Man is a lyrical genius. ❤️❤️

Robert Smith's voice is still in fine form, unlike so many of his contemporaries, that's why I'd still see the Cure live....
100% agree, but I cant afford the price of the tickets.

Going to Stockholm from North Carolina in October just for this show. Never been to Stockholm, never traveled alone, never seen The Cure. I'm 68 years old so it's about time for all three.
Must be a dream come true sharing stage with Robert Smith.
Martin particularly, he says the Cure were his formative band, the ones who inspired him into music. He has probably played that guitar riff for decades never realising this would happen.

It’s funny. I’m old enough to have followed The Cure from about day 1 back in about 1981, and one of my thoughts back then was: do these dudes _really_ maintain this gothic look into their 60s/70s? They do! 👍🤣
The choice of having Lauren singing only the lines before "she said" and having Robert sing the rest just made the song so... whole!

Manageable singing range and not overdoing it, great relaxed vocal cords... Breathing control, experience, sounds like he does not smoke nor drink too much, no drugs either I'd guess.

Still got it, will never lose it until the day he ceases to be. This guy is pure genius and it's incredible we all still get to enjoy his music, and more to come! I can't say that about most of his contemporaries who really lost their way around the 90s. To have a 40+ music career and stay in form and on par is astounding.
