An exciting video that demonstrates the art of casting into the potential snags and luring the fish into attacking your hardbody lure. I fish the "bidgee" and am surprised at how low the water is where you were fishing. Quality.
Thanks Neil, my understanding is that it’s all to do with supply & demand this time of year. We had heaps of rain, there wasn’t any demand for water from farmers downstream and so releases dropped to a minimum.
I’d be a bit disappointed on that first fish, I know it’s a yella, but you were targeting cod 🤣🤣 Awesome work as always mate! Some amazing scenery and fishing! Keep up the awesome work brotha! Tight lines 🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙
Loved the drone mate, there’s a bit of an art to getting smooth clips that I certainly have not mastered! Point to point is the only way to go in these low flows.
Great video. And yes, that last yella bite was absolutely stunning. Such good visuals
Thanks Steve! Yep he sure wanted it, those visual bites are as good as it gets for me.
Awesome mate!!! Cant wait to see the Double tap on a proper one!!!
Cheers Brad! I’ve got a few proper fish on it, just need to get one on film 😂

@joshreadfishing it's the only way in a yak 🤣 I couldn't bring myself to stop fishing to get the drone footage, but I appreciate that you do 👍🏽
Thanks Josh

Good video, how long did it take, assuming you got out at public boat ramp?
Thanks mate, I did it in 4 hours but skipped a through bit of the shit water and yep I used the public ramps.
2:15 what rod is that your using
Jabbers Double Tap Snake Charmer! It’s actually a 5 pce travel rod but you would never know when using it.
@ never seen it before
They’re used a bit up North on Barra but haven’t really found their way to the cod scene yet. I’m sure it won’t be long, it’s a beautiful stick.
