Ole Field Queen.. Built in Maize Ks. Where I grew up and farm today. Maize Corporate still builds parts for them today. Bert and Wetta designed them. They used them in there alfalfa chopping business years ago. Bert and Wetta are still in business in Abilene Kansas still making alfalfa pellets today.
I still use mine every fall, it’s the best 1 man silage show ever made. I leave the open top JD716a on the blower and bagger & go back & forth with chopper. I can fill a 14x60 in a day easy leaving the 716 running at the blower & keep dumping into it. Daughter used to read book & watch blower from far away.
@@califarmer30 yes, still use it, it’s in excellent shape, it’s a red one, fires right up when you touch starter, it has the full length touch up sharpening bar that is impossible to get now so I only use it for corn silage now
That is Really Neat! Back in the 1980’s the Neighbors Had 2 which was Big time In The Day! I would listen to them Roar All Night as we didn’t have A/C In the House.
There were a bunch of these around here back in the 70's. One beef operation had two, and one dairy ran one side dump and one conventional. At least two of the side dumps got cut up for heavy duty side dump wagons for muddy conditions.
Nice and a Detroit not the cat .they ran so much better than the cat motor in this application cat would lug down and drum would slow down instant plug.detriot let her singing would lug but that 2 stroke keep drum humming

I still use my 7650 to chop grass I replace the 6V 71 with a 6v 92 TA. Quite a bit more power than the 71
That is really cool. People would love to see some videos of it actually chopping.
You never know! We might try them out again
