You’re still fairly young but I gotta tell you, when you’re a provider, you work so much that you miss things like soccer games, graduations, weddings, funerals, it’s so hard to balance a great career with personal time. I’m 36 years Air Force, I just retired in 2022 and for the first time in my life I’m able to go on trips and spend time with family. As a pilot I was always out of the country. My longest time out of the county was 2 years and 4 months, I had JUST gotten married before I was told to fly here and then I had to fly there and just over that time I flew so many sorties that they kept me busy. It’s good to be retrospective and take a step back to see the big picture. If I had done that there no doubt I would have retired earlier. But my family was so dependent on my income that I wanted to enjoy their super comfortable and easy lifestyle. They were the inspiration I needed to go on those long excursions. So take this time to go do what you have to do, you have loyal fans and we will always be here when you get back. Family is number one always

We all get busy with life. I find myself falling behind on episodes and then trying to binge watch to catch up. I’m actually excited for the once a week. It gives me time to enjoy each episode as I watch them. Really enjoy the channel and will be a lifetime fan. Praying for Ike’s family member.

Y’all are in no way disappointing us. Not gonna lie, been wondering how you guys find time to do ANYTHING other then your YT videos. All of You guys are awesome, just saying better health better videos. We love you guys and keep up the great work. I have been watching y’all for about 6-7 years now.

Totally understand. Once a week makes sense. As others have said, please don't feel like you need to up the production quality though. One of the great things about this channel, and I am sure your crazy schedule has been a part of this, is that your videos are not overly polished. I don't mean that as an insult, your videos are some of the best content on UA-cam. But part of that is the raw feel of your videos. It makes us viewers feel like we are there in the shop with you. I swear I sometimes get a whiff of welding fumes in my mind when Ike skillfully cobs something together. Love it! Keep up the great work.

So in TLDR, kicking back to once-a-week posting instead of twice a week to keep up your health?
Dude, I'm surprised you haven't done so sooner! Once a week is the golden spot for that kind of balance with most UA-camrs, you guys are already doing exceptionally well and your own health and family come before the channel always! Keep up everything you do.

I wish Shorts would go away. If there was a way to filter them out of my Subscription page I would. I have picked off multiple channels recently that I followed for years because they began posting multiple Shorts per day. That's way too Tik Toky,

between four people dedicated to making videos that have no customers and only build mini bike and go carts they dont have time. 160 man hours to put together one video? The editing is not special. also got patreon and sponsors. Simply just lazy. Pathetic that with 160 hours between four grown men that they cant get more accomplished

My families from Charlotte, and I understand y’all operate out of that general area, if I’m not mistaken. Close by, at least. Well I grew up working on projects like you all do; working on go-karts, and small engines. You guys have taken it farther than I ever did, but to levels I wanted to take things, and could have if I had invested more into it. Anyway, I’m just commenting to offer my assistance, if you’d be interested in another set of hands to help out, even if it’s off camera. I’ve always wanted to hang out with you guys and work on projects together, because this is exactly how I envisioned my future as a kid. I was rebuilding flat top 5hp Briggs when I was 5 or 6 years old. Wonderful memories. Still have a yard full of karts and other machines, I’d be happy to bring some of my own things if need be

Guys I get it. Good for you. You need to look after yourselves and friends and family first. If you’re not rested and mentally in a good place you can’t begin to make quality content. It’s amazing how much changes over time. Since I’ve been watching this channel I’ve had 2 kids and seen my spare time drop to near zero. A bit selfish here on my part, a drop in your content upload rate will give me a chance to catch up on all the videos I don’t have much time for anymore! Anyway look after yourselves and we all look forward to following you on this journey for years to come. Thanks for the content.

While listening to the video, I had a bunch of thoughts and ideas to suggest, but by the end of the video all I could think of is, most all of your videos ( and I've watched a lot of them) are entertaining to say the least.
I'm unable to get out and bounce around on a "mud mower" or a modified "little red wagon" anymore let along bend over one for hours to peak its performance. So I especially enjoy watching you guys tear down, rebuild and then go "test" the results.
That's what it's all about and if you make one or seven videos a week, us adoring (and drooling) fans will enjoy every minute 😁.
You and the crew, along with your families are in our prayers so keep recording and we'll keep supporting👍❤️.

Its good you guys are deciding to take a step back, usually happens too late for a lot of channels and they get burnt out and you can see it in the content. Been watching you guys since 2015 and you've been going hard the whole time. Luckily Ike has a good boss who lets him take off the time he needs to deal with the family member, a lot of places would tell him to either deal with it on his own time or use his paid time on it. It'll be interesting to see the change in content, hopefully some more long form videos, could maybe keep in some of the bloopers you normally post at the end.

I love watching this UA-cam channel, gives me so many ideas on what I can build/fix, I loved the episode where ya put a predator motor in an ATV frame, that was awesome, I thought about doing that, I am a guy who is into ATV, side by side atv's, at heart I am a die hard 97 through 2006 jeep Wrangler guy, I had an 2004 jeep Wrangler sport, did lots of lift kit mods, big tires, sadly my 2004 got stolen, recently got a low mileage 97 Sahara edition jeep with 113.000 miles 5 spd hard top and soft tops with full doors for a steal, got it for 3,000 that's very cheap considering the low miles and how good of shape it's in, gonna eventually put a 2 to 2.5 in lift on it, I personally know just a two in spring spacers in the front and 3/4 to one one spacer will clear the 33 in tires and ride very well, I love this channel and how everything is explained and how much awesome things you guys build and do

I love the bigger projects, road trips, and i would love to see more actual car content. I loved the miata series, i love your truck, I want to see what you guys do there. Could be super fun! Honestly, I wouldn’t say the video quality has gone down, but I have definitely noticed major changes. It all clicked when you mentioned not being able to tell a story. The stories during the builds and the connections we used to get made the content just that much better. If it means less videos to have better stories and build, than that’s not even a question. Take care y’all.
