I don’t think it is. The credits have Dave Fridmann labeled as the producer. He didn’t start producing with mgmt until oracular spectacular

​@@jackgruberfanaccount4956 It's official, but not official - if that makes sense. This was part of one of two demo albums by them when they were known as 'The Management'.
I'm not sure about the accuracy of the credits/Fridmann's involvement with this 'pre-MGMT' stuff.
We (Don't) Care EP was first and the band gave copies out on CD at their college concerts, and then it was leaked online. Climbing to New Lows was second, only leaked online - as far as I know.
They were then picked up by Cantora and released the Time To Pretend EP, before moving to Columbia for their studio albums.
