I got to say I got my troybilt 130. ? Any got the carb and cleaned well. And put slot of gaskets on. 5 gaskets. A metal one and the heat shield and the plastic part that attaches to engine. Thanks to people like you. It runs...but it was running at high RPMS.. SO FIGURED OUT THE GOVERNER ADJUST AND HAD TO BEND part of the governer.. But runs about 3100 rpms. Works great ethanol free now
Hey Doug , I have that exact mower and it has served me well for many years . I do take care of it though with regular oil changes and sparkplug cleanings or replacements. I also clean the bottom of the mower deck and the top as well and it gets all lubed up for another season oh and I change the blade as well or sharpen it too. Take care and be safe and looking forward to you next video.
When I've always ordered one I've always been careful too make sure it has that stud too catch the auto choke lever . I bought a push mower one time and for some reason that stud came off and wouldn't choke no more . Thanks I sure never thought to take the whole choke lever out of the old carburetor and reinstall it . Great lesson for this old dog too learn. 👍😀
happened to me the same thing to my gen 1550 carb I thought it was the wrong carb at first and a lot of those overseas carbs throw me off butt still function 100%
Ozzy Tinman Thanks Ozzy , I've worked on lawn mowers for thirty years - but mostly Briggs and Tecumseh engines . Working on Honda's has been a learning experience , but now I can say I've got it down . Better with people like you coming up with better idea too open more doors .
It sounds good. Instead of messing with that choke and linkage. Why didn’t you see if the needle and seat clip from the new carb fit in the original carb?
I have no idea about motors... but you're saying carbon-dater/carber-trator.... but are you being funny as in you're saying silly names for carburetor?
Genius 15 dollar fix!
Surprised I missed this one. Normally I watch all your videos.
I really appreciate that bud!

Yeah, nothing like confusing people.
And “trottle”. Annoying.
