Nice review! Thanks for your work
No problem! Glad to help!
Hi Doc , Thank you so much for such gr8 video I like to use Gride
No problem! Glad you're liking the content and thanks for letting me know what you platform you like using! Never used Gride before. I'll look into it!
Hi Doc which platform you recommend for education apps this month ✅.And Keep up the good work
Hey great question!
Depends on the functionality of the app. In general I would prob choose Podia, Softr or Glide. But it all depends on the main functionality of the app.
Hope that helps take care!
I built a paid media app for a customer with Glide but need additional functionality for v2
- Share links with a portion of the story
- Like Comments
- Comment on comments
- Go live from the app
- Attach phone videos to posts
What do you recommend?
Depends on your exp. with coding, low code or no code tools but I would be leaning towards Flutterflow or Bubble for this. I would really make sure of the scope for the client and tying it to KPIs and benchmarks before doing a V2.
Hope that helps take care!
great video good pacing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Doc
Can you do a video on the best beginner no-code stack?
Great suggestion! This might be possible but this really depends on your use case. There are so many different types of projects and solutions are trying to build with no code. What do you have in mind?
@@docwilliams I am not too sure. My goal is tool learn a tool that is fairly in demand, but also be able to builder web/mobile apps. I was looking at using something like bubble, but am not sure.
@@virajbagga5923 gotcha. I would really pursue looking to solve solutions and start learning tools that help you move fast to solve them.
I do like Bubble but it has a steeper learner curve so being able to use a tool like Softr to be able to move fast and then expand with Bubble would prob be my answer but depends on the clients or projects you pursue.
Hi Doc! Great content here :) what would you recommend for a meditation app (audio streaming) with a mood tracker? Looking for a tool that lets me create a mobile app with a lot of user input and dashboard design options.
Hey Jimena great question! Depends on where you are with validating your idea. Do you already have paying customers? Are you testing the market? In general I would prob go with Glide Apps to get started. www.glideapps.com/
@@docwilliams Hi! Thank you so much for your answer, I don't have paying customers, it would be more of testing the market. I am looking for a tool that has a range slider as an input field for users, so far I have only found tutorials about this feature for Bubble - but the learning curve seems steeper for that one 😅
@@jimenamateov gotcha thanks for the details! For testing the market and need a range slider I would look into Glide. Have you seen this article to explain the different ways to use a slider?
docs.glideapps.com/all/topics/components/app-components/pickers/rating#icons
This might help you in the right direction.
@@docwilliams Thank you so much! I had not seen that article 🙂
Hey, amazing video. Thank you.
Can you say what are the top No Code tools for mobile apps? meaning app store option.
Really depends on the functionality you want.
I say that because if my main goal is only going into the store most platforms can use an app wrapper like Nativator and submit it to the appstore.
If I don't want to use a third party app wrapping I can go for Buildfire, Adalo or Goodbarber to start with.
Hope that helps, take care!
Hi ! Great video . What will you use to make matrimonial app ?
Hey great question! Depends on the exact features you need for your app. Also are you just testing the idea?
Great video again, Doc!
Which platform do you then pick out of these to build a travel certificate generator?
Hey great question glad you're liking the content!
I would go with Sertifier if that was main function for my platform-
sertifier.com/
@@docwilliams Thank you for the recommendation! I have just checked them and their pricing looks way out of my range for the project in mind. No other alternative?
I forgot to mention that each certificate must come with a QR code that opens up the digital copy of that certificate. I had already set up the database on Airtable, however, it's practically impossible to automate that whole process on there, and I had also not found ideal integrations on Zapier as yet. I'm quite stuck, no lie.
The whole system is for covid test certificates that international travelers need at border gates.
I should also mention that I am very new to no code😅
@@mhlengikunene7893 no problem! Glad that you're getting started! Keep me posted.
Hello Doc,
I am looking to build a online grocery delivery app for my grocery store. What do you suggest ?
Thank you
Hey Jamal great question! Depends on how technical you are right now and the exact functionality you need for the grocery delivery app.
Wuz up Doc. I'm a inspiring film maker. I want 2 host my own projects in hopes to fund my next 150. What platform would u recommend?
Hey Marquis! Great question! Depends on what type of projects you're trying to create. Can you give details on what type of projects you're creating?
Looking to build an educational app for a certain type of profession what would you recommend?
great questions! Depends on the functionality you need and if it has to be a native app.
In general I like go with a learning platform that offers a custom app for creators like gurucan or it video only based prob teyuto.com/
Thank you for the video!
I am looking to build an app where residents can rate their landlord, have community conversations, and will have access to information guides (ie. how to file code enforcement complaint). Do you know what app builder has a template that would allow me to do this as I have ZERO experience and would like something that does not take that long to create or have a steep learning curve? Also, I would like for the app to create a grade that automates after the user answers a series of questions. (ie A- Habitable).
What do you think would be the best app builder?
Hey Tia!
Great question!
It depends if this is for validating your idea only. If to test it out I would use Glide apps but long term FlutterFlow.
Thank you for your recommendations. I have looked at and tried to navigate templates from over 6 different app builders (Appypie, Glide, Soft, Adalo, FlutterFlow, Google, etc.) and to be honest, JotForm has THE best customer service support, easy navigation of templates and has an amazing Conditional Logic program that can be easily integrated into your app. I don't think I've seen any comparisons of it on UA-cam. It might be good to do. The bonus is that it's completely FREE!
Thanks again!
What would be good for a fantasy sports app? With live leaderboard ranking and so?
Great question! Depends if you're trying to validate your idea or if you have an audience or paying customers at the moment.
@@docwilliams A subscription for only those who host their own league within the app. Those who don't host, will not pay, but can still sign up for app.
@@fractionofreaction9222 Depends on the level that you will let host make their leagues custom but I'll prob go with Bubble or Buildbox.
Hi! Im looking for an app builder that will let me create an app that works both online and offline for tablets. Its for my fathers business, he needs an app for his sells team where they can show the products and input orders when they are visiting clients all arround the country (venezuela) it needs to work offline cause sellers dont always have access to wifi when they are visiting clients, so when they do connect to the internet it can update the data base accesible from headquarters. It would also need multiple profiles one for sellers where they can register orders see order history, maybe se a comision aproximate based on the order price and see wich orders still need to be payed. And another profile for clients where thet can see their orders and what needs to be payed. Both profiles would have access to the catalog where items prices need to be updated almost on a daily bases. Its not a common ecommerce app cause they wouldnt pay thru the app but have access to see all the products available and order status. Where can i make this possible? I have no experience building apps but i know if i find the right builder i can make it happen, any sugestions? Thank you.
What’s an SOP?
Great question! Stands for Standard operating procedure
Hi Doc, this was great... many of these seem to have the flexibility I need for work. I tinkered with notion and agree is beautiful, but not sure it's the right fit. Any suggestion which platform would be most helpful in building a lite but scaleable ERP with some future app potential? Calculations will be key... Ive been using Wix but it is a little clunky... thanks for your insight!
Hey Adam glad the content was useful!
Depends on the functionality you need. For example what are the key calculations you need? For sure Bubble can handle that workload but also Softr with specific scripts could be a solution as well.
Hi Doc, which platform do you recommend for building an app that depends on a big database? Ex. users can input their car service data (date, time, type of service, servicer name, etc....) so they can document it on the app.
Hey great question! Ehh that depends if you want to use to different systems or just one.
Just example you can use Softr (one of the easiest no code tools) and combine it with a airtable base so the database size would work.
Hi, Love your info level. I am trying to do a ministry-based app that is very easy to start, maintain and evolve. I have NO Exp. Is any of this possible ?
I would like to include things like daily bible reading, preaching snippets, announcements/ updates, purchase items and maybe class modules.
Hey Shaune glad you're enjoying the content! What you're asking if it is possible is you have some coding and no code experience.
Those are great features but to bring them into your own app you need to learn several different skills and no code alone won't allow you to accomplish everything right now.
I wouldn't give up on the idea but it will take time to learn key concepts to create databases, APIs, etc.
Hope that helps!
Depending on your goal and where you are testing your idea I might look at a white label option from a current app on the market.
Hello Doc! nice video! I am looking into creating an app that allows my users to fill in some forms, attach some videos, and send that to a JIRA board. I a full stack developer and I'm curious about no code and i'd like to test the development speed of an app using no code solutions. What would you use for a desktop web app that works both in desktop and mobile. Basically what is the no-code equivalent of coding an app in js + wrapping the webview in a native app for mobile?
Hey Anthony glad you're enjoying the content! For your first question - fill in some forms, attach some videos, and send that to a JIRA board I would prob use Paperform and use webhooks or Zapier.
They have a direct integration with Trello.
There are other ways as well using a airtable form etc. but I like how clean and easy Paperform is to use.
Regarding a desktop web app that works both on desktop and mobile- I would prob check out Softr. Again depends on the exact functionality but I'm a big fan of Softr. If you want to try Softr, you can try it for free here- www.softr.io/?via=doc
Hope that helps and keep me posted on your progress.
I have a stupid question - are these just web app based or can I create them for Mobile App and place to Android and iOS? If so, do you have tutorials on how to accomplish this objective? Thanks in advance.
Hey no great question! For these options they are Web apps but depending on your goals you could use an app wrapper to submit them to the app store but depends on your goals and I usually only suggest that if you validated your idea or there is a clear use case that your paying target audience is willing to pay for your app.
But you can use an app wrapper. Here's one example- nativator.io/
Check out their site and you can always message them or do further directions on how to create an app wrapper. Take care!
@@docwilliams Thank you!!
Cool video! Let me know if you get a chance playing with Voiceflow and need any help :)
Thanks, nice suggestion! I'll keep that in mind.
I am waiting... 😍
Hope you like the video! Ask me any questions about it!
Hello doc. Thanks for all you do here. I have 2 projects I wanna start soon
1. Freelance marketplace like upwork
2. Uber-like app only for package delivery
I am more interested in mobile apps for ios and android. Please which of these no-code platforms would be the best for me to learn
Hey man no problem! Glad to help!
Great questions! This really depends on if you validated your app ideas and trying to scale or if you need to validate it with your target audience.
To build out both you could use Bubble for sure.
If I was making a marketplace app I would leaning towards Sharetribe Flex but this in expensive choice but the best in class.
For Uber-like app it depends on the exact functionality but I would go with bubble and if I needed a quick MVP Glide apps could do it and then use nativator.io/ to put it in the app store.
Hope that helps take care!
@@docwilliams thanks doc. I'll look into glideapps and nativator for the uber like app
Hello Dr, I have been watching your videos for a while now. Thumbs up to you. Please kindly share which nocode platform is suitable for building an accounting app (keep financial records, calculate tax) that can also issue out receipts and payment links. Thanks
Hey glad you're liking the content! Zthis dpeends on the functionality of the accounting app.
It also depends what you mean by payment link and what third party integrations you're planning to use like Stripe or PayPal.
But in general I would go with Bubble or Softr. Bubble can def do it but the learning curve can be pretty steep.
Softr can be an option but you'll prob have to use webhooks or Zapier with it as well.
Hope that helps, take care!
@@docwilliams I appreciate your response. 👍🏿👍🏿
@@blankchequecorp no problem! hope all goes well take care!
I plan to build coaching apps, so you suggested softr?
Depends on the functionality and how many students or members you are coaching.
Softr is a great solution but depends on the few factors I mentioned.
Hope that helps
Hi Doc, can you tell me what's the best platforms I can use for self host app building?
Hey Kent great question! Tell me more about this- what do you mean self host app building? Are you referring the ability to download the source code for your specific app you are building?
Or are referring to a platform like Replit for no code?
@@docwilliams Yes download and run/host on my personal server. A platform to move finished app to my server
Am I able to export the App after development
Great question! Which platform are you asking about? You can with FlutterFlow.
I used Glide but it does not have push notifications. Which app builder have push notifications?
There are several, such as GoodBarber. I recommend doing a Google search for no code apps with push notifications.
@@docwilliams Thank you. I will check it out.
Hi Doc! I have a wordpress website and which app would you recommend to connect this website onto the app?
Great question! I would prob go with www.appmysite.com/
I´m planing to develop a card betting game, what platform do you suggest??
Hey Paul great question! Depends on the exact functionality you want but any game focused app I suggest taking a look at Buildbox- signup.buildbox.com/
I want to create an application for deliveries, that can use the google map api. what do you advise me
Hey Jose great question! Depends on if you have validated your idea with paying customers yet or in the idea phase. In general I would go with Glide to test the idea www.glideapps.com/
Hope that helps take care!
Im looking to build an app that scrapes sites for product lists, and lets users scan a product bar code in a physical market and then have it tell you if its on the scraped list. Which app builder can do all that? Also, is there an AI app? Like, you can scan the product without looking at the bar code, and it "google lenses" it to see if its on the list? Thanks in advance
Great question! This depends on your skill level and if you have validated your idea. I say that because you're going to have to add features gradually to make sure you're add featuring that are functional for your audience.
That being said you're prob going to build this in two parts- automation on a platform to do the scraping, adding that to a spreadsheet and then display in the app.
So prob doing with make or tray.io and you can use FlutterFlow for the app.
Regarding google glass you'll need to have coding experience and do things more with Google Vision AI cloud.google.com/vision to begin. You'll still need a few other things to consider but should get you on the right track.
@@docwilliams Thanks a lot!
@@docwilliams So FlutterFlow and not Bubble?
@@itsnotatoober for what you're trying to build yes FlutterFlow in this case.
@@itsnotatoober no prob!
Do any of thse platforms have an export code function that could then be ported into say a website or on a different platform that can ingest code?
Some do like FlutterFlow but to find out which ones have the option, go to the pricing page of the platforms or check their documentation for details. Take care!
Hello Doc. Thank you for the great content. Can you please help me to decide what Code Tool should I use If I would like to build a web app for bus ticket selling like the Greyhound online booking webpage, consuming data (departures, prices, etc.) from an existing Azure SQL database, using PayPal for credit card payments and sending a PDF ticket by mail or message? I’ll appreciate your comments.
Thanks for the question! There are a couple ways, depending on your skill level and how far you have validated the idea. Are you just getting started or do you already have an audience? For the tool, you could use Bubble all the way to Glide Apps.
@@docwilliams Thank you for your reply! I have basic skills in programming and I can say that the idea is validated, as I intend to build a web app for a system that is operative using windows applications and Azure SQL, the developers of that system can give me the API, so I can connect with the database. What do you think of using AppGyver? Or do you recommend Bubble as a better option? Thanks again.
@@tecnovitali thanks for the details! I personally would go with Bubble in this case.
AppGyver might work but long term my bet is on Bubble.
@@docwilliams Thank you Doc! I appreciate your answer.
@@tecnovitali no problem! keep me updated on your project! Take care.

Hey great question! Depends what type of product or service you're selling but in general I would look at bubble or flutterflow to begin.
Please can you recommend which platform, i can use to create a loan app for my client. and being able to export the source code..
Hey great question! This depends on the functionality of the loan app.
If you're looking for a platform that exports the source code search for no code platforms exports and look for the options.
The platforms can include FlutterFlow, UI Bakery, and a host of others but it really depends on the functionality you need for the app.
Hope that helps take care!
What about adalo ?
Great question! I've made videos about them on the channel before.
It's a platform that could be used but not one of my top favorites. Details are found in the VS video series like this one-

Hey, thanks for the question! I would recommend checking out some of the platforms I mentioned like Softr or Adalo and reaching out to their support and reading over their docs to make sure they can provide what you need.
Also gave it a little more thought you could do this with Glide apps or Appsheet as well. Very possible just depends what platform you like to use. Keep me posted on your progress!
Hi, thank you for the content. I want to make a PWA with no code for an online course. Which product can make PWAs besides Beezer?
Hey great question! There are tons just depends on the functionality you're looking for. Bubble, Glide, Adalo, Softr, buildfire, appsheet, app2sheet etc. are all PWAs but it really comes down to your goals and functionality.
Also because there are too many to count I would first write down what you're trying to create and then google the platform and add PWA or web app to see if that matches the description of the platform as well.
Hope that helps take care!

Great quesetion! I would look at the terms of service for each platform you're considering but in general yes you own your work and data on each platform. Regarding the source code that depends if the platform allows you export the code like flutterflow does.
Depends on the export provisions based on the platform. Hope that helps!
