Our 30 minute Catholic Mass today is broadcast from the Basilica’s Crypt Church and is celebrated by priests from the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington, featuring sacred liturgical music with a Cantor & Organist from the Choir of The Basilica. The Christmas Mass and the Easter Mass are special one-hour broadcasts celebrated annually by the bishops of the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington.
Our mission is to bring the blessings of Jesus Christ’s presence and love, through The Sunday TV Mass, to the sick and those unable to leave their homes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! BUT, please include the English translation of the text where only the Latin is said. It is distracting and disorienting when I can't follow
I can't watch this is on speed control. Slow it down for more devotion. Have to watch another who is not trying to race thru the Mass.
This Mass is created for a 30-minute time slot for TV, we also offer a full Solemn Mass on our Livestream, which includes music, incense, as well as a procession and recession.
