As a pregnant momma who has really been struggling with my home, I am truly enjoying your videos as I slowly work to get my house back together and doing it with joy.
You go, Mama! Growing a little one is no joke. I'm honored to get to clean and homemake with you via videos. And yes, to joyfully! 🙌☺️ I'm praying for you and your little one now. 🙏
A wonderful channel.. so glad I found your lovely vlog. I follow a couple of God vlogs (Coffee and Bible time, One thing alone and Cambria Joy) my four children are teens and early twenties, all home. I do miss when they were little.Time flies! Wish youtube was around then! Would have been so helpful. I’ve tried hard to be consistent over the years with reading the Bible/prayer/church for myself and to teach the children but it’s been inconsistent. Definitely was easier when they were younger to sit them down and have Bible time. As children have grown it’s much harder. My oldest son is not interested at all and we’ve got used to “attending” church, online mostly since lockdown. Although hoping to begin going again . And trying to teach kids Bible journaling, having quiet time with God and praying. My chronic insomnia PMS and monthly 3 day migraines not helping in keeping me consistent, not a morning person and I have a job too..we’ve also moved many many times. I’ve lived with my non believing Indian inlaws for about 15 years (very difficult times and I converted from my Indian faith to Christian many years ago) I was getting very homesick for the U.K.. live in US now. But getting better about it though. I’ve realised that all those years gone by I wanted to be the Proverbs 31 women but got very sad that I was not good enough. life has not always been easy but loved having the babies and being a mum. Now I’m trying to begin again.with being consistent although I’m naturally a very disorganised person. it’s a battle (and peri menopause setting in!) and motivation wanes! I would love you to please do a vlog on how to not feel guilty about ups and downs during hormonal times, how to stay physically and emotionally motivated to keep going with everything. To overcome being naturally disorganised..Also how to keep kids on track to spend time with the Lord as they grow. Thank you and God bless.
Hi Gill, Thank you so much for watching my homemaking videos. You are right there are so many wonderful Godly women on here who encourage others. I bet it is much easier to have the Bible times when kids are younger and you as a mom create the flow of the day. That would be amazing to get plugged back into a church body "post lock down" I know many have struggled to get back. I am praying now for your oldest son, your homesick feelings, and that shame feeling of "not being/doing enough" would be released in Jesus name. I pray the Lord loves on you and guides you as you strive to be more consistent in meeting with Him. He will see your heart. Everyone connects with him in different ways. My husband is a movement guy for walks and such for God time, I'm a peaceful painter...we all are wired so different, yet all in his image! “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” Lamentations 3:22-23 His beautiful and endless mercy is my prayer and Word of God truth I hope you cling to when the hormones, headaches, and other things stack up. And I can not give much advise on what you mentioned in regarding to "Keeping kids on tack to spend time with the Lord as they grow"....because my kids are still very young so I have not walked this season of life. I try to truly and fully love the Lord and others with what I have and live it so my little ones see. But maybe find a book or another believing family in the local church in the same season of life with grown children that can encourage you! God Bless. Thanks for spending time here on my page. You will be in my prayers. ~Morgan
I'm glad I found this channel we may not be the same religion but oh my goodness it feels good to find a kind woman of God who takes pleasure in taking care of the blessing of her home and family like myself and I can confidently watch without fear of being judged for doing the same. I pray u have a wonderful day filled with so much love and I hope your channel grows in a beautiful way lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺
Dear Mrs. B, You have made me smile big! Thank you so much for the encouragement. And yes, from one happy homemaker to another, it truly is a blessing to tend to the home and family just as you said. Thank you for the prayers. And Australia?! How neat...(I'm in Florida) far and wide is the community of homemakers on here. I was only expecting a few younger ladies I know personally to watch...but the channel already is growing. 😅 Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🤍☺️
Your videos are so inspiring. I actually listen to them while I work at my desk job. Where do you get your dresses? They look comfy yet beautiful. Bless you.
Well, thank you for watching/listening to a few! 😉 Dresses are from all over mall, thrift stores, online, Tj Maxx. It's so hot here in Florida, so comfy and flowy is a must.😂 I don't have specific stores or brands, but I've just collected over time... if it's lightweight and has flowers, it's a keeper.🌼
@@seasidelane Thank you. I too am in Florida and have taken to wearing almost exclusively dresses only (with the occasional yoga pants day) so I'm always on the look out for light dresses that are modest, feminine and comfy
Such a lovely and sweet video! I enjoyed listening to your journal entry when you got to see the blood moon while nursing your newborn. Reminds me of when my son was just over a month old I held his sleeping tiny body in my arms and watched the firework display outside our apartment at the time. I remember soaking that into my memory and know how much I enjoyed that special few minutes just him and me together in the beginning of his life. I have written poetry in the past, even songs, and hearing your journal entry has planted an inspiration seed in me to write about that special moment and to write more. 🥰
Hi Molly! Thank you! And yes yes write! Haha. I love documenting special memories like that. I'd say the firework moments with him would be one of those memories. 😊 Have a wonderful day. And thanks for following along here and I saw on Instagram too. 🤍
Beautiful video! Would you be willing to share your book list and daily Bible Study? I am a Mama of one about to graduate and it feels almost like the unknown newborn time!
Hi there, thank you so much. How exciting to almost have a graduate. Congratulations! 🎉 And honestly it changes from season to season with books, devos and Bible studies. Sometimes I pick a daily plan on the Bible ap to do each day. Sometimes I will find a journal like devo from the book store. My husband I are doing a couples study with others currently. Haha, so all that to say: 1. Reading through a book of the Bible is my first go to. 2. Finding a study or book or phone ap to guide me that meshes with my "season" of life is my second way Maybe that helped...haha maybe not. 🙈 But have an amazing day and hopefully you find a good fit for you to connect with Him and His Word daily. 🤍
