This is so helpful, I'm glad I found your channel. I don't even know how to research but I'm learning the terminology through your channel. I want to completely cover a dress shirt in rhinestones and pack them neatly like this. My worry is that I don't know how to make sure they don't fall off. Any advice on what to look out for?

Welcome aboard! Without a cams machine, you'll have little gaps in between your stones if you're using our Magic Flock to cut templates. The cams machine is what can place the stones so close together.
A few things come to mind - consider the weight covering an entire shirt might result in. Will it hang correctly, is there room to move a little without tightly packed stones rubbing on each other, etc.
Next, how to make sure they don't fall off. That comes with checking the health of your heat press. By that we mean to use a heat temp gun (we have videos covering this as well), and check all four corners and center of the heated platen. If the areas all minimally vary in temp, then you're good to go.
The reason this is impt is because these are hotfix stones.
In the rhinestone world (pardon the pun haha) there are flatback stones (hand placing with adhesive) and there are hotfix stones (needs a heat press). For hotfix stones, they have a little pad on the back of each stone that is activated by heat and pressure from the press. This liquifies the pad and bonds with the shirt fibers. If pressed correctly, they will outlast the garment even with normal washes. Just be sure to avoid fabric softener (and don't pre launder the shirt) as these things can coat the fibers and make the stones fail over time or prevent them from a good bond to begin with.
Hope that helps to get you started! :-)
