The drawback to these games on higher difficulties is you have to focus so much. Sifd also has to speak to the audience and focus on the game. That's why he missed the ascension crystal at 9:38 and then continued looking for it.
couldn't agree more, Duration is really only good on the birds (probably not true but anyways..). If you combine it with 7 or so projectiles. Area is really nice to get some extra on the sword to get whole screen coverage without sitting on 10+ projectiles. It's not that viewable to get that many on the swords each and every run so I don't mind picking up some Area during leveling it. Besides those two weapons I haven't seen a noticeable difference from going pure DPS and not utility. Btw, the birds can get crazy with some extra projectiles and duration. Cheers
Area works with everything it just sword area of attack is very visible, the base default area is large and the long sword evolution means you can increase the area by a huge amount compared to anything else in game.
This game is both one of the best and one of the worst survivors bullet heaven games at the same time. Its such a nice game, with great visuals and themes and idea, but its got the worst progression in any of these game. Ive played more than 10 hours and im still not even up to the second row of the tree. To much of the game is to rng heavy without the meta progression to help smooth it out. Removing coins from chest during bosses and making the chests drop more potions was a pretty bad choice too. It not only makes the axeldors passive damage when hit even more mandatory, but on the runs when the game chooses to just not give you coins, you now get even less. The game really likes to punish the player for not being lucky. Also, couple of notes for things you asked in previous videos. The magnet in these games is actually an exp multiplier. It seems like its just a quality of life feature, so why use it, but its apart of the mechanics. You can pickup all the exp without it, but its unlikely most of the time. The only time you would want the magnet to not exist is if you no longer pick up exp. Which i think would be bad for these games, as they already have a lot of simplified gameplay. As for the why sometimes you still find exp after a boss spawns, is because the game doesnt stop giving you exp, it stops spawning enemies that drop it. So you still get some even much later, because you are killing an enemy that spawned before the boss did.

@@gh0stluv979 yes but i went through the fist two bosses because i wanted leaves, but you can quit out after the first boss and it still works

A question mark disappears every time you get closer to unlocking the "Missing" character
correct me if i'm wrong but i thought area is for close range it makes your attack range a bit bigger i.e. for sword etc.

I'm pretty sure Attack Speed doesn't affect Uncanny Bow (or any weapon where Att. Speed is greyed out).

sadly u missed the last ascension in last shop, so thats why it didnt show the upgrades for weapons 26:30 ish
