Love these types of interviews/podcast. I’ve only just found this channel and the shed and I really like them, both. Oh and I recently found RTM Podcast with big spray and I really like that channel, too. Last few months I’ve been hooked on these interviews, with the older grime, garage, jungle period. I personally miss this 90’s and early 2000’s so much. The music was incredible. Being 14 or 15 around 1996/7 and listening to garage, was incredible and I have so many memories. Even silly things like I remember being 15 and I was at my cousins, listening to garage and it was around march and I remember living room door being open and it was really sunny. I remember listening to radio sets with friends, waiting till dj swirly and mc starkey set to start on Saturday then hit record and go out with friends and listen when I got home. Am I the only person that is about 35/40 grew up on this music and know that you will be still listening to garage, grime, dubstep, uk funky etc, when we grey and old? I def don’t feel vocal grime, now, guess because I’m older, now but I still love instrumental grime. I can def see myself doing instrumental grime mixes when I’m in 60/70’s. It’s funny that my mum when I was a teen, used to play all that old music. Loving you, etc and as an older woman, if she still plays it, it will feel right but part of me thinks it will feel bit strange, playing grime etc in my 60’s. Young people would be like, why don’t you listen to old people music and I will say, am. This music was about when I was growing up and people often still like music they loved as a teen, when older. Sorry for the life story. People hate it when I do this 😁
Wicked interview. Plague has real knowledge on tunes and structure of the tracks. Remember going to my Nan's in Erith one Sunday in Jan 2000 and locking onto Rinse with Plague, Slimzee and Major Ace. First time I'd really heard a whole set of dark Garage with non-stop lyrics.
Criminal this only has 300 odd views. I was raving in the garage n dark dnb era. Wasn't a fan of grime as much but enjoyed listening. For me the garage people set up their own downfall with the 2-step sound, it then went darker n the people that couldn't break through jungle had a new space to MC.
This came up recommended and is my first time listening to this pod. Very enjoyable, still! Respectfully…around 55mins…only someone not from South could say “Garage Delight wasn’t big”!
Good interview.. interviewer needs to sometimes let him talk without giving his own opinion.. good to have both opinions but can get abit much when too often.. other than that good work👊🏾
Good interview, kept it real

Great interview and words about slimzee 👌
Slimzee a legend
🔥🔥😎🔥🔥
Plague was up there with the best Mc’s for Jungle and one of the most entertaining in garage
More and more people are using the Dark Garage term, to explain the transition of U.K. Garage into Dubstep/Grime.
