DITCHING Hubcaps and Putting e30 Steel Wheels On My BMW 2002

In this video, I DITCH the old school 13" hubcaps and put silver painted e30 spare wheels on my BMW 2002.
I know some people really like the hubcaps, but I honestly can't stand them. Until I'm able to put my 15" BBS RS wheels on the car, I'll be rolling with these silver painted e30 spares on my BMW 2002.
I'm gonna show you the process for prepping and painting these car wheels silver (it's a little more involved than you'd think) and then I'll share my thoughts about why these 14" silver painted e30 spare wheels beat the pants off the 13" hubcaps.

About My Channel:
Rennthusiast (formerly Bavarian Enthusiast TV) is for the most part a Porsche 911 channel centering on experiencing air cooled Porsches, but will also feature other vintage, analog vehicles I add to the collection. Firestone All Season tires. Beyond that I‘m not sure. As these are only temporary (relatively) I bought on fit and price vs long-term quality.

Found you after I recently bought a 3.2 Carrera, but I've had a roundie '02 for over 20 years, too. I've swapped wheels a few times, but have - in fact - settled with hub caps on tii steel wheels. The extra 1/2" of width sets the hub cap into the wheel, and makes it look so much better. The irony now is that some folks will pay big money for the 72-73 tii steelies because just about everyone threw them away at some point.
