Their range refresh has been fantastic and I'm not a big marine fan but even I'm tempted by the inner circle box! I do hope one day we will see the Ravenwing side of the army get the same treatment!
My favorite Necron model is the Void Dragon, which I finished painting about two weeks ago. It might not be as iconic as the monolith, but from a purely aesthetic standpoint, I think it might be one of the best models in 40k.
Space Marines are really hard to limit to 3. Could have added Guilliman or Calgar. The 3 lieutenants were great. Needed a Phobos one to shake it up. Aeldari are another range that is so big hard to fit into 3. Think I would have gone Falcon and/or Wayleaper. Thanks for the list.
For sure - a lot of armies have incredible ranges and there certainly will be some very unlucky models to miss out. I think after Space Marine 2 Calgar is one that a lot of newer players would also easily recognise. Can also see the falcon interchanging for the fire prism. Thanks for your thoughts 👍
The main reason for this is that the main Space Marine chapters outside of the ones without their own dedicated codex/index (Black Templars, Space Wolves, Blood Angels & Dark Angels) are just aesthetic choices. The detachments aren’t specific to chapters anymore, although heavily influenced by. So you could use a Raven Guard force with any of the detachments in the Space Marine codex. Therefore the likes of Ultramarines, Imperial fists, Salamanders, Raven Guard, Iron Hands and White Scars all sit under Space Marines. If I started breaking every army up into lore chapters this video would be easily over an hour long. That being said, Shrike is a really cool model for the Raven Guard 👍
Sadly I'd be surprised if they get anything any time soon - they have access to the entire Space Marines codex, a named character in Shrike and upgrade sprues if you wanted to cater the generic models more to that chapter aesthetically. I'd be interested to see if they ever decide to bring their primarch Corax back could that bring some more specialist units alongside, but that's pure speculation at this point.
This but for AoS as well
It’s on my to do list for sure 👍
Well he can’t even use half your range then, since it’s whfb 😂😂😂
The Dark Angels are such an eye-candy, they really did them a solid with the Lion and Inner Circle companions.

@TheCommandPhase fully agree, they seem to be a little outdated and I'm a sucker for bikes with wings, so... It'll come eventually :)

You’re right, it is an absolutely stunning model. Do you have any pictures of it up on a social media account at all? Would love to see yours 👍

No ‘The Silent King’ for the Necrons is Necron heresy
He is an incredible model for sure
There is an argument to be made that the 3 Phobos Lieutenants are the best 3 Space Marine characters, abs I don't even like Phobos that much
I mean who needs any other units, just all of the Lieutentants.
New to 40k, Grey Knights keep coming up on my list of chapters.
The model that makes me want to play death guard is the Foetid Bloatdrone with the mower attachment, oddly enough I don't really cart for mortarion
I totally understand that, they’re really cool, disgusting and deadly looking models. Sums up death guard really well 👍
Enjoyed your Tyranid picks! Here i'm still in love with the Haruspex, a beast straight out of a nightmare! 👻
I do love the Tyranid big beasties and if I had 5 picks I'm sure that one would have made the list!
Very nice, will you be doing one for AOS?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I will be, it's very much on my to do list 👍
9:41 “And one everyone would think of when you think grey knights would be the palad-“ 👁️👄👁️
For nids i prefer Neurotyrant, Psychophage, and even though i dont like him a ton probably the screamer killer. Dude is iconic as a big bad beast
Thanks for sharing. I definitely agree that the Screamer Killer is another one of the iconic models for that army.
No raven guard? Feel like they get the least amount of love

@ thank you for the reply 🫡
You're more than welcome!
@ in your opinion, do you believe the raven guard might get some more love? Models and codex’s?

Why can't youtubers do voice overs using their normal conversational voices?
