Just throw a land claim block down at your base anyway to prevent spawning zombies in the surrounding location. Also if you turn an existing building into a base and centralise the land claim block it should prevent the traders creating quests on your actual building (base).

I am not sure if they nerfed that Water Purifier mod but When you were thirsty at the gas station, that water purifier mod, if still the same, let's you drink murky water straight without risk of debuff once added to your gear. I love that mod!

@gunmetal2890 the mod is the same, I've noticed you can drink straight from the river without risk now too meaning unlimited water, not sure if they will patch that with the full release

@@Oquirrh Nice, even though it is an OP mod, i think it has a pretty rare drop rate... In the past when i have gotten this I dig a shallow hole at my base, make it look presentable with blocks and wedges, then go and get a bucket of murky water and fill in the hole. Then as you run out to quest, you stop at the little pool of water... drink up and off you go! If I recall correctly the pool of water should stay the same.
