I was at this game. We just got a new house and only set the tree up. So a house with only a tree and presents.... The kids said our present is the game as it starts in 4 hours. We left the kids and almost got beat up as we were very loud and proud Da Bears fans.....
Brett favre is the GOAT... no one will ever beat that consecutive game streak.... especially a qb doin that is just crazy! No qb will ever be as great as him
@@pretorious700 Aaron Rodgers is worse! Rodgers is arrogant and cocky he acts like his shit doesn't stink. At least Favre is more humbled than Rodgers.
This is Sam Rosen and Bill Maas. They were designated as Fox's 'number 3 crew', though Fox was pretty interchangeable with their mid-level crews. Rosen and Maas worked together from 99-05 and every year except in 2004 they got a late season nationally televised game. I figure Fox wanted to give them a little something-something those years.
@@robsmith961 I get this, but even when I watched it live as a teen, it felt like one of those 4th announcer team games because there wasnt alot of special camera angles or promotions that you would see if Joe and troy were calling the game
I’ve always liked classic NFL games from 1997 to 2006 and when Sam Rosen broadcasted Packers game. Those modern and current NFL games with Joe “Fuck” Buck and Troy Aikman crap pisses off all the time. 😂 Thanks for uploading them and Longwell sucked shit from 38 and 39 yards. Hopefully this year and going forward, Rich Bisaccio will attempt sharpen up the special teams unit and Crosby’s kicking units following a disastrous ranking from last year. No wonder NFL now makes my life a living hell as if I’m in war.
Sam Rosen & Bill Mass assigned this national game. IMO, should've been given a divisional playoff game that year. But then Mass got into some trouble about a year or two after this and Rosen ended up getting lowered down the depth chart of Fox NFL announcers. Keep in mind, their sideline reporter back then was the fledging Jay Glazer who hands down would've had that clown that Stockton & Johnston had beat. That being Tony Saragusa.
It's a shame these two never called a playoff game on tv. I think they are one of the best announcing crews in NFL history. Both Sam and Bill were phenomenal at what they did and putting it together made listening a great experience. I started watching the NFL in 2006 (the first year they were not assigned together) but I listen to old games on UA-cam and they are always a terrific listen.
@ nieion vitage nfl do you happen to have these three games from 2005 nfl season 2005 week 17 Chicago bears at Minnesota Vikings 2005 week17 Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons 2005 week 17 Seattle Seahawks at green bay packers

First NFL game I ever saw! Thanks so much for uploading!
You are welcome.
It's nice to see this game again.
I live for this kinda stuff lol 💯🐻⬇️
The only bears quarterback who knew how to beat green bay...sexy rexy
Him and Kyle Orton beat up on the packers from 2005-2008. Too bad Cutler and trubisky have no concept on how to do that 😞
@@declanbrown5056 Cutler did ruin Thanksgiving for the packers in 2015
@@danielsoto8601 the only worthwhile thing he did as a bear lol

Kyle orton beat up the packers his whole career.

Too bad he's a self centered asshole.

Oldest rivalry game on Christmas Day 2005
Keep forgetting this was a nationally televised game, but the production and announcers make it feel like a regional game.
