Really I didn't think it was that long, I can listen and read real history for hours. It's much better than the fake history I've had to endure most of my life.

That's what SHE said!~ Seriously though, well stated and duly noted; the revised history they feed our kids now is pathetic.

Sometimes the UA-cam algorithm puts some gems on my suggested watch. That's how I found your channel. Just binge listened to the Bigfoot Wallace episodes, great stuff! Glad i found your video's, i been watching Texas Rangers on Legends of the Old West,,,,,,,now i have more great history to learn. I been asking older and any Texans if they know who Jack Hays, Ben McCulloch, Samuel Walker, Robert Gillespie or Bigfoot Wallce are ??? Out of 15 to 20 people, one person knew them, 1 said she heard of Ben McCulloch and thats IT. I live between McCulloch and Gillespie Counties, Comanche Creek runs thru our ranch, i found a Lance head and Arrow heads and i fleshing rock thats really cool. Its a shame that more people know who johnny depp is more than these 5 bad to Bone Great American Warriors are. If i was Governor of Texas we would celebrate them for a Month, and you wouldnt pass 12 grade if you couldnt tell me everything about these 5 Great Texans,,,Captain Jack Hays,,,,,Captain Robert Gillespie,,,,Captain Samuel Walker,,,,Captain Ben McCulloch and Captain William Anderson Wallace,,,aka Bigfoot Wallace,,,,,, RIP Great Texas Warriors,,,bravest of Men,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well said Mark Gray. My Texas Sowell/Sewell family arrived at Gonzales Texas in 1829. John Newton Sowell led the family to Texas for the land grants. John Newton Sowell was one of the Gonzales 18 who refused to surrender their 5 pounder 13:48 brass cannon. Several of his sons served in the Texas revolution. One son, Andrew Jackson Sowell, served at the Alamo. A cousin of the family, Marcus L. Sewell fell at the Alamo. The reputation of the Sowell/Sewell men of Texas was that we usually don't die of natural causes. I'm proud of that. It shows my family men know there are somethings worth fighting for, and possibly dying for. God bless, America. a

BFW scouted a stage coach trail from Austin to El Paso. On the far west side of the Guadalupe National Park (get key at park hq) the road to Williams Ranch travels along that trail for a short ways. Unfortunately in recent years some do goodies have destroyed the reality of the Williams Ranch Home.
