We had this exact trash can. I am glad yours works great but ours was really bad and stop working after like 18 months the motor gave out or something. I don't know how the algorithm knew I had this can but whatever great video!
I have two of these trash cans in my house, and they've worked flawlessly for seven years. Visitors sometimes think they're motion-activated, but they're not. They're activated by the presence of something near the sensor. This means you don't have to wiggle or move anything. Just hold your hand or the object one or two inches away, and the can's lid will open and close automatically. It's a smart design!
I never knew this existed. Nice!

@@Colton-k3m Sounds like a good deal. I recently saw a special on the company website two for the price of one.
when you started a video about a 5 year old bin by saying it was bought in 2019 I instantly felt like I aged 30 years
@@bettafish541 Right!! 😀 The time goes by. Live well!

@davidlum-ny It is awesome and well built! What happened after 7 years? Did they just stop opening?
@@AWAShowme They are both alive and doing what they are supposed to do.
