@BeJazzledNotDazzled yes, but to be more accurate... Finnish, hungarian, part of russia, estonia are related with saami (called Lapps pejoratively) culture which extended from the Ural mountains to scandinavia...

I listened to the music in Finnish before realizing some of the songs were in English as well. With the exception of In Passing (which I heard first) I prefer the Finnish. The English versions seem so...foreign since I heard them second. And I only speak English!
Is there an english version of this? Just asking, not that Iike finnish, just english comes more natural to me since I am greek and latin-like languages are more familiar to me... I love Finland though! ^_^ All good music comes from there!

Finnish, Estonian and Hungarian are Uralic (Fenno-Ugric) languages. However Russian and other Slavic tongues are Indo-European together with e.g., German, French, Greek and other European languages as are also many non European languages like Hindi. I know of no established connection between Uralic and any Middle Eastern languages - I suppose there are none.
