I fought 231 times in the ring. You couldn’t get me to do this if you put a gun to my head. Because that’s what it would be

I’ve seen plenty of bad stuff in arenas before even a guy getting crushed in the chutes at Billy Bob’s but nothing like what happened to that kid. So glad he’s doing good 👍

I've worked as a medic at these events and I can honestly agree that this is a very dangerous sport.
I've treated many crush injuries and more than one ending in death.
One (in Darwin Australia) of which had his groin stomped, which resulted in broken hip and internal crush injuries. He died two days later.
The main thing I used to treat was dirt in the eyes.
So pop( grandpa) was champion and went to defend his title the next year. Im not exactly where he was in the season but he was thrown into the rails kicked in the back and then horned in the side. Would never ride again. He showed me some pictures of his injurys and man ill tell ya ive seen some bad injuries but those photos are near the top of the list.

I've been horseback looking down on a bulls' back and thought; "NOPE, no way I'm going to ever get off of this horse and try to ride one of those." I don't mind working them, but I don't wanna try and ride one, ever.

I use to ride bulls I've been retired since I was 27 I'm 32 almost 33 and have had my skull literally crushed in 2009 when I came face to his head it shattered my face to the point that it spider webbed across my skull had to be put in a three month medically induced coma 16 surgeries later with short term and a little bit of long term memory loss my wife And all seven of my kids were there and got to watch the wreck unfold and me be carried out on a stretcher iwas 19 when that happened and right after I was well enough to ride again I got back into my training and rode for another seven years and won three more state titles so to be honest yeah it is worth it and the money yeah cuz your are literally looking at 1st place being 10,000 to 20,000 anight for first so not to be rude but what would you say to that check. I've never seen a big-time Rodeo/Bull rider who wasn't literally born into it. Usually they grow-up on a ranch, around horse's & bull's as well, hell it's pretty much all they've ever known.....Cowboy'n! Hope you're staying warm in Siberia, cause live'n there, well that's very much Cowboy'n your own self!

Of all the reasons for which hand to use to hold on I think I would use my least needed because as many times they get hung up I'd imagine that arm would be useless for a while lol
I got stuck the same way Dakota Louis did on his head. That happened to me during my football season over the summer, glad the bull fighters made sure he didn't get stepped on.

That was NOT an actual scoring ride by ANY stretch of the imagination... at the 8 sec. mark, he was completely off that animal and had been completely out of control for another 2.5 seconds... I don’t even know what to call this event, it’s definitely not a sport! I admire the courage of these guys, but this is on the verge of madness! Firstly, why are their helmets taken off, because this shouldn’t happen, and secondly, their neck and throat are completely unprotected! And I would limit the weight of the bulls! Even when watching the video, such an event makes you feel uneasy, but what can you say about these guys, what is it like for them!? I convey greetings from Siberia to these courageous and brave guys and may God protect them!
