Great tips Kevin. You can have all the equipment but you still need to know how to use it. Short and to the point that's what I like about your videos. No endless bragging about all the expensive tools and equipment that viewers have sent you or the latest tool that you just bought that you already have 15 of the exact same tool. Keep up the good work.
Great video and I have some of the benders you have as well. I made square tube bender for my Harbor Freight roller out of double split shaft collars over 3/4" pipe so that they are adjustable for different sizes of square tube, Have you tried bending rounded curves in angle or channel? I've failed in my attempts.
I've successfully bent pipe with AO, but had to go really slow (rhyme not intended). I wonder what you think about a forge? Not so much for pipe, but metal bending in general?
For vise and heat method..... fill pipe with DRY sand and plug the ends. That will keep the pipe round. It won't collapse or distort. Heat the pipe on either side of the bend so the whole area becomes rubbery and bendable. Info videos on You tube.
Not sure how to do this one. Might have to start and try something different. Do you have the correct dies for the size of tubing you are working with?
I used to have the mother in law bend my stuff she could bend girders in her bare hands .she used to work at the airport kick starting jumbo jets by Eck she wer strong she was a big woman when she went out of our front door there was an eclipse ! We stopped her from swimming at the seaside cos she started sunamies on the opposite coastlines .

Kevin you should do one on how to do measuring when doing work with a sheet metal brake.
Always good tips! Thanks, Kevin.
good stuff. Many people just blame the tools then fear them.

Two other tools that are essential in forming metal correctly every time are knowledge and experience.
Oh man is that a big one!!! I still learn stuff every day!
@@KevincaronSculpture Oh yeah me too. If we knew it all, then it wouldn't be enjoyably any more.
