Oh wow! That’s really cool that a band covers that many genres. I guess Evanescence is like that too, in their own way. I will definitely check out more of BMTH’s songs. If even Amy Lee is a fan of theirs, I figure they must be pretty good 😄

I agree, this song is amazing! I find it even more interesting once one finds out that Amy Lee represents Mother Nature and Oli (BMTH singer) represents man in the song. Many people guessed the song was about a bad breakup which isn't entirely incorrect, but a bit more nuanced. I believe it's about Man's toxic relationship with Mother Nature and how things are almost (or perhaps are at least in this song) too late to change things for the better. There are hints about this in the lyrics such as "You know you can't breath on your own", which was quite literal coming from Mother Nature lol. As for the release of the next single/music video, I think you're correct that it'll come out this month. No set date as far as I know though. I'm guessing you're going to do a reaction on the next Evanescence music video too? I saw you did a review on The Witches. Oh wow! I didn’t know that about the song. It’s pretty cool how it could work both ways. Amy has spoken about her concern for the environment recently, so it makes sense she’d be interested in the message of this song 🙂 I definitely want to react to more Evanescence music. I need to be better about being timely on my uploads, though 😂 Yea, I didn’t watch the new Witches movie. I was going to but I just really had no interest. Couldn’t get up the motivation 🤣

I do plan to react to their demos that I haven't listened to in a long time, in the future :) I did also think of having one day where I record a bunch and that worked once for me haha! I can record at night when my husband is with our one year old, but I got a little burnt out in October because there was so much new stuff I wanted to talk about :D Definitely let me know how The Witches remake was :)

@@HayashiMasahiro there’s a video on UA-cam of an old performance they did at a place called Vino’s in Arkansas where the band was formed where they performed all those great old songs. Their cover of “Don’t Fear The Reaper” is on there and is my favorite cover I’ve ever heard. There is also a super rare song on that recording that I believe is called “Catherine” and it is beautiful. Some of their best demos are “October”, “Solitude”, “Understanding”, and “Before The Dawn”. Literally any song is amazing though. Especially “Even in Death”. I think you can find them all on UA-cam. I actually love to record videos. It’s a fun hobby 🙂 it’s just that I can only do it at night or weekend since I watch the kid all day. Sometimes I’m too burnt out from “mommying” to record 😂

I believe the best thing about this album is how creative your mind could get with the meanings of the songs, i first thought this was a breakup song, then found out it was about nature and humans, i thought dear diary was about anxiety and panic attacks, it was about the media/resident evil, i thought teardrops was about depression, it was also about media and such, but they also work so well as the alternative, so it's kinda upto you to listen to the songs in whichever way you want, which I think is amazing, I've never heard songs like this where you can have multiple meanings from the same song and they all make sense And yeah I agree with what you said, Amy's voice is so great that she does overshadow anyone she collaborates with, I'm a lifelong bring me the horizon fan, and I love oliver's voice but she really did drown him out many times
BMTH has really good music but its up for you to decide. I don't know about you but they're music is great and I've been listening to some of their songs. Also you have soft spoken voice that I notice.
I still haven’t listened to any other BMTH songs but I do think that their lead singer has a good voice. I also really liked the lyrics in this song, which I think he mostly wrote. I’m just not in a hurry to hear more without Amy Lee, I guess 😂 I didn’t realize I was kind of soft spoken until I started making these videos 😄

When I learned it’s true meaning, it became such a deeper song. I always appreciate the thought an artist gives their music. I’ll take your interpretation of me and my videos as a nice compliment 😊 It’s interesting to hear how others might interpret my videos. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I would agree that I try to be thoughtful about what I say because I care about the quality of videos I put out. When I make a video it’s because I have genuine interest in the subject matter.
