Ive been reading comments on both this and the season 7 teaser and i hate most rick and morty fans now. The only thing thats changing is the voice. Did you only watch rick and morty because you liked the voices, NO you watched it because it very inventive with beautiful writing and animation. None of that will change. Dan harmon is one of the best writers in our generation and i garentee hes working twice as hard to make this season a banger. Just because justin was dropped of charges doesn't mean hes innocent, nor does it mean he was good to work with. " you fired him from his own show, bring him back now." Im sorry did you make the show, did you work with justin, then shut up and let talented people do there thing.

And this show hasn’t had great writing since season 2. As much as you’d like to believe it wasn’t the voice, it was. The iconic screaming and crying of Rick and morty is what brought attention to the show at all. Wubba Lubba Dubb dubb will never be the same with a different voice, or morty’s iconic crying scream.

@@austinlee8364That's not what the user you replied to meant when he said the iconic voice of characters voiced by justin wont accumulate the same feeling as the rest seasons before the change of Justin's detachment from the show. I'm.not sure if voices are pre recorded before animating basd on the voice or its oposite if it's by the voice we might get a lack of creative writing regarding his acting as a character they have envisioned and a lack of it would change his character + not counting any context new episodes will turn into. You need the whole package for show - especially animation to become recognizable iconic you dont just use annoying voices to make the character be annoying its together with perfect writing which you said you're attentive to by Dan and dans team production. Were used to the animation via voices when justin imitates anger screaming annoyance we will catch his impression before receiving any voice by how animators make him antsy I wouldnt want to hear someone else's voice. In real life damage on your larnynx I think wouldnt change atleast the voiced patterns and the sound could be recognizable if you were their relative, their voice wouldnt be abandoned it would only get fixed or damaged or removed completely so maybe it would be interesting if one episode was about him losing his voice and learning sign language by seconds or using an AI model to comunicate - easy fix atleast worth it for one episode I'd enjoy the change

But I just don't agree with everyone saying the show is dead because of it and there is so many people that think it.
@@frogthejamygo6379 maybe, maybe not. just like the improv scenes, it's kind of all over the place at times, but still following the circle. saw heather anne campbell added to writers for what, season 6 so far, and she's an improv champ and a great addition to a writer's room.

That is what the courts are there for. Johnny Depp went through the same thing and was proven innocent and is still having a hard time getting back into acting because everyone thinks it's easier to cut ties at the moment an allocation is brought up.

Justin only wrote like 6 episodes. All he did was voice the characters they actively kept him from the writing room. The majority of the show was written by other people so obviously he isn’t that needed especially since Dan Harmon is also credited as co creator so he still there then why is the show down for just cause Justin is gone?
Justin Roiland probably didn't beat his wife but like Dan Harmon he is a generally creepy guy and even when he worked on Rick and Morty had effectively 0 creative input by his own volition because he was busy flaunting his pornstar girlfriend around. The show has been dead ever since they replaced half their writing staff with women but Justin leaving might've honestly been good for the show, even though I highly doubt it can be saved at this point.
Instead of replacing Justin, how about stop effin embracing cancel culture because all you really care about is your own reputation and bring him back and give the people what they actually want! Let the people laugh instead of adding more chaos and uncertainty to the mix.
