Amazing work. It would be great if the books had their own interactive content in the form of music, pictures or short videos. This helped me a lot to create the right atmosphere and imagine what the heroes of the book look like. I also looked up pictures of the Ydrassil ship. It could be a tool to revive the reading experience not only for this book. It could be the future of the modern reading experience. It's a shame that only fans are doing it so far and it's not an official product. Thank you so much for the video anyway. 👍👏

2:16 look like young George Takei but Lee Byung-hun as well he will be a great choice for this role. 2:47 I can see Josh Brolin being Paul Dure easily.
Thanks for the feedback. I've enjoyed a few of the recent sci fi epic movies / TV series (Dune, 3 Body Problem, Foundation, etc). With all this interest in making the sci fi epics, lets hope Hyperion is next in line. Cheers.

@@neilrichardson4998 Personally I'd like to see a series. Each pilgrims tale taking an hour episode. So maybe 8 or 9 episodes for the first book. I mean if they can do it for Foundation, I dont see why they cant do it for this, which is a far superior book. I think Willem Dafoe would make a good Martin Silenus. He's older now, from America and has that mobile expressive face. He's gritty enough. Aiden Quinn as the consul ? Possibly. Although I think Bradley Cooper has himself down for that role in the anticipated movie he's looking into. Brawne Lamia is also very short, stocky and thickly built, being from Lusus. As for Johnny, well, if you look at an image of John Keats, being only young, he resembles Timothy Chalomet a little although thats probably because I cant think of anyone else. As for Lenar Hoyt, He needs to be someone thin, gaunt and ill looking. John Hurt would have been perfect in his younger days, but not sure now. Sol Weintraub - possibly Ben Kingsley ? As you can see I'm itching to see a film version of this, my favourite book.
@@theinnerparty5295 Fully agree with your comments about a tv series. There is so much to unpack in each pilgrims story that you must have a series to do them justice. My template for the consul character was actually Aidan Gillen. I like your choices of actors to play the pilgrim roles. Hopefully it happens. All the best.
Je plaide pour un casting international, but that has certainly to do with the fact I'm not anglo saxon. Paul Duré should of course be a french actor, colonel Kassadh an arabic type actor, the consul should be more fat and tired drunk looking around 60, but looking 70. Hard to imagine a massive looking woman like Brawne Lamia.
@@gillesbourgeois5348 I agree with your comments. My prompt for the character of Kassad was Amr Waked. Big fan of his acting. Good suggestions about the other characters. Here's hoping they can get a cast with the talent and diversity of the recent dune movies. Cheers

Not bad, although some of them look like Actors. Brian Blessed, Jeff Bridges and Aiden Quinn are a few I recognise. Not sure I'd go for that.
