I love this bag, I bought mine in 2013 and it still looks brand new, it’s excellent quality with the smoothest zipper. I would mention that the strap becomes a lot softer and it will stretch! I bought a LV adjustable strap so I can wear it as a shoulder bag! Great review

I have this bad and I adore it. One other con that I find is the way the strap attaches to the rings. When I wear it cross body or as a shoulder bag it makes the handle look uneven and that drives me crazy. But overall, I love it. So classic and so cute. One of my favorite LV pieces.

I got this a year ago as well, wish I have the opportunity to use it more. It’s beautiful and it does fit a lot of essential items. I’m even surprised that it fits my emilie long wallet. Great 👍🏻 review!

Great video! I’m definitely interested in adding it to my collection, I had the same issue with one of my straps coming off. I took it back to the boutique & my SA sent it off for repair. I’ve had no issues with it since! Try that! 🥰

I originally had this in the monogram and decided to sell it because out of fear of ruining the leather and the strap! I wish I knew back when that I could purchase straps to replace the existing one, I likely would've kept it because she was still so beautiful. I wear this with the adjustable monogram strap and the adjustable BANDOULIÈRE in monogram.
Recently with my Alma DE, the adjustable strap did go undone on one of the side which was really weird and kind of alarming to me. It hasn't happened since and I'm thinking maybe I didn't put it on properly. But it has happened to me too!
As for the lock, try attaching it to the clochette to avoid further hardware scratching!

Hi Rana! I actually have the Alma PM, and it's exactly the same problem. I can fit my VDS personal in there and some very slim things, but that still make the zipper do its wonky thing. I love the bag so much but I stopped using it as an everyday carry now that I need to bring my iPad 11" constantly. BTW I did ask the LV store to help me wax the zipper - it made it a little better with unzipping and zipping. Thanks for another great video!

@@debloui Absolutely! I know you can do this yourself at home, but I was a chicken and I brought it to my local LV store and asked them to do it for me. You might also be able to ask your local leathersmith for help. Good luck~!

Hello everybody, just bought one Alma BB DE yesterday after an exchange because of Alma BB Monogramme quality issues... The bag is in pristine condition but I've noticed a lot of wrinkles on the interior of the handles. I just wanted to know if it is normal (because of treated leather) or if it is not (for those who have the same bag). I asked my SA and she said yes but I keep on interrogate myself.

i have the original Alma…since the 70 ‘s. lost my key so can’t lock. i have the LV print, i use it quite a bit, but my fave is my bucket, also old❤️

No I didn't Polish it love 💕
The brass locks do tarnish, so just clean it. Toothpaste or baking soda paste works great.

I bought the Alma bb in July & sold it a week ago. Only used it twice. I don’t carry much but it didn’t fit my absolute essentials without distorting the zipper.
That makes sense love. No point in keeping something that isn't being used. What will you replace it with?
@@ranaplans I replaced it with the bumbag 😊 I purchased the bumbag before the Alma bb sold because I wanted to beat the price increase 😅 I’ve been using it non-stop because it’s so comfortable & fits so much!

Hi rana. Planning to get my 2nd lv bag. I have the pochette metis in reverse, which would you recommend for a 2nd bag? The alma bb in DE or speedy b25 in DE? Thanks in advanced
If you carry a lot then the speedy b 25. It's a great bag for running errands and can be dressed up as well. Hope that helps🥰
Could you let me know what strap this is? The current model doesn't have an adjustable strap. Yours looks adjustable in one part of the video.
It's the same strap love. Unfortunately it's not adjustable 😩
I have what may be a strange question but…
My Pouchette Métis is my first LV that’s not a Neverfull, so I’m not used to having hardware. The gold is already coming off - is that normal? I have only worn it maybe 4 times.
Where is it coming off? On the s lock? It could happen I guess if you have lotion on your hands and then touching the lock. Or hand sanitizer?
Hey! i saw you mentioned that your strap came off randomly twice and this has happened to me too (twice as well funnily enough) and i was so upset because the metal slammed onto the floor below me and scratched :(

Don’t know if I should get this or the speedy 25. Would probably use this more. Now I have to pay $240 more😖😖because of procrastinating. Quite senseless not to make the strap adjustable, given the price. I guess LV doesn’t support functionality.

Rana Plans actually, I prefer the coach Katy satchel with the duo colour combination. It’s way nicer & eye catching. I don’t t like the solid brown colour at the base of the bag. Coach is the BEST when it comes to quality & craftsmanship🙂
This one was the next bag on my list. But because your informative video I decided not to buy it. I want it for my everyday bag but I have two little kids and I always in a rush. I don’t think it will be a good choice even though I love this bag so much.

I think the Pochette Metis is more casual. Also, it is more comfortable as a crossbody. I prefer the Alma bb when I'm more dressed up. It really comes down to personal preference🥰

I love this bags! It's a great size for me. Not too bulky, not too small, not too deep. It's not heavy. It is a comfortable fit on your shoulder or on your arm. Secure! I love the look, style and product! *hidupz*
