Great video man, I don’t play much shoreline so this was really helpful! 99% of my raids are on customs and I do a lot of cultist farming so I just wanted to add a few pointers for anyone who wants to try this on customs. I’ve had a shit ton of experience with the cultists on customs, but I’ve only ever seen them in two spots; outside of the garage south of crackhouse and east of ruaf, or by the train under skeleton. I haven’t seen them by the train in two wipes, and I only ever saw them while fighting reshala at fortress, but it’s worth mentioning. If you come from ruaf roadblock, you can peek the crack in the wall and see if they are there. It’s actually broken, you can peek the hole in the wall and see them all standing still, but they won’t shoot until you do. Your best bet is to kill the priest and maybe one more, then run over to construction, usually I finish the rest of them off from there, sometimes one of them hides in the garage or by the busses. IMO customs is super easy for cultist farming but that’s prolly bc I’ve always loved that map
easiest way to kill or bait them if they're not rushing you is to abuse a half right lean peek around a corner(use the smooth lean to right hand peek only halfway out instead of fully) and slowly clear every angle from a window or something while a friend watches the entrance also half right peeking, similar to the established customs method. They cannot "see" you even if you've aggroed them if you're not peeking more than halfway out. Obviously this is vastly inferior to simply baiting them to the door which is much safer, but like you said, sometimes only 2 or 3 rush you and you need to track down the remaining ones
keep in mind that they can respawn in a different location a few minutes after you killed them, in this case you could find them at Path To Lightouse after killing them at the resort Edit: damn you btw, i've been secretly farming them uncontested for a month, now's gonna be a challenge
Huh. I must have been running straight past these guys on my night time loot runs. I’ve done roughly 20 so far, and entered right there on the west wing, never once engaged or been engaged by them.
Their spawns are fairly limited something like 20% iirc and that is split between 3 locations on Shoreline so it is very possible that they just never spawned on the resort and instead on one of the other 2 locations. In addition Cultists will only spawn during specific times in the night, from I iirc 22:00 to 4:00 which isn't a terribly large window even if you do exclusively night raids you could easily begin a raid that is "nighttime" but still not be in the spawn window, or start a raid early in the morning that will end outside the spawn window, in both cases the Cultists wouldn't spawn. On top of all that, the cultists when not agro-ed are very low profile with very few voice lines and silent movement and a fairly small activation radius so you could very easily walk right past them and never even know they were there.
Last wipe they were consistently spawning at resort we would see them 3 to 4 times there outof 10 raids this wipe has definitely knocked back there spawn down to around 12 percent I believe this is bc of the new goon squad spawn at weather station .... so far I've killed them 3 separate time this whole wipe out of almost 80 shoreline raids they are almost non existence at this point
@@justinangelle5571 yeah it is really weird, something must have been messed with for their spawns, I almost never see them anymore. Personally I'm not advanced enough or frankly interested enough to bother with farming them so for me it's a bit if a relief to be able to do my night raid loot runs in relative peace. However not seeing them at all is a bit concerning. It is somewhat fun once you realize they are there to try and skirt around them as you loot the resort. They also can also act as a makeshift security force similar similar to Scavs, since they'll very likely engage or be engaged by most PMCs that come in after you.
I've learned to farm cultist behind blue on woods, as woods has the highest spawn for them I can usually farm shturmin and cultist all in one raid leading me 3 violets this wipe, 4 red rebels, black keycard, and many marked room keys:)
What's your trick to farm them? Do PMC's get in the way often? Are there any spots you like to shoot them from, and what's your weapon/ammo of choice to do it?
@@JustAJauneArc For my spot, I like to take Shturmin on the rock over hang opposite of blue. Shturmin can’t see you at night but his guards can as they have night vision, so they should be your primary target first. One spawns on your left hand side in front of the red buildings in the bushes the other spawns near the very far cabin on your right in a bush as well and shturmin spawns below your rock perch near the trucks closest to the the nearest cabin on the right of you. I usually use m62 as the 7.62 MDR is my favorite gun. 7.62x39 BP will one shot shturmins guards but not shrurmin, but it will one shot headshot cultist. Now for the cultist you can see them in the exact same spot this can be done solo but I prefer duo. In that rock perch across from blue you want to look right between blue and red buildings into the woods. You can see the cultist leader usually crouching up and down head bobbing and sometimes you can see another guard. If it is too foggy you can hop down onto one of the lumber stacks in front of blue to get a better view (just a more risky spot). They will not push you if you remain over 100m away, I like to have my team ready in blue huddled into the corner covering the door. Who ever kills the cult leader will have the aggro so when you go to meet your duo in blue is when they will push usually. 1-3 cultist will push you once you arrive into blue wait a couple minutes and if nothing me and my team mate pop painkillers and run out the back back in forth until we get shot at, if you remain moving you won’t get hit, then we will rush back into blue and take our positions at the back door and will rinse and repeat until they are all dead. We learned not to throw grenades at them as it will push them back into the woods and then you have to go into that scary place together to get the last couple so don’t do that. And that’s pretty much it! Now for PMC’s we probably run into them 1 out of ever 10 raids so not often at all! If shrurmin or the cultist aren’t there I loot lumber, med camp, and depending on spawn used and get out and repeat. If it’s around 0500 and cultist aren’t there I usually loot the whole map and wait for the night cycle again. I’ve made 25+ mil over the last two weeks doing this.

there is only one problem. THEY ARE FUCKING SCARY LADS.
This is a method I’ve used before the only other way I hunt them tho is with the thermal on a bolt action or DMR usually on woods sniping across the lake it’s lower risk but more expensive plus a secondary is a must especially if you can’t pick them all off from range first
Thermal, on cultists.. from across the lake? Ok
@@craigchin by sunken village on woods shooting across the lake
@@logannicholson1850 Ah now I get you, I was picturing FOB to behind sawmil 😅
Didn't know cultists appeared on thermals? Not tried since before last wipe. Good to know!
@@craigchin they are incredibly difficult to see u usually see just the gun rather than the body of them
I love the music! Sets the tone for the theme!
Also for anyone watching this a year later cultists can spawn with a Taiga in their melee slot which is usuallly around 10 mil stay on the lookout for it
this tutorial makes me feel that im watching some horor yt video
even with this info cultists are an enigma and give me nightmares with how well there ai is designed at times
Thanks Jeff 💯 💪
god damnit, I can't go night time questing anymore
idk but this was like a scary movie
I just fought some sektants on customs....day customs... and I found a glitch. I took a bullet out of their mag but it froze the slot and wouldn't let me discard or do anything with the bullet. Be sure to not empty the mags, check them by sight.
thats literally just a normal bug that has been around for years, sometimes it happens and you cant put things in that slot of your rig/bag for the rest of the raid, even alt f4 wont fix it
Very informative. Great vid!
Ah I thank you so much. You need way more views and subs for this content
110 is also a good spot to farm, i used it the first time i killed them knowing nothing about behaviour and it worked like a charm
bro made me feel like this is a "how to survive nuke bomb" shit
Your voice makes the video like ghost hunting document
this feels like one of those scary games you play when you are a kid with a bunch of rules, like the midnight game😨
That was like a terror movie.. !!
I for real never knew about this but I am sure it's worth giving a shot. Amazing content, if it wasn't for you then it wouldn't be for me. Fr.
Has this been patched in any way yet? I’m newer to Tarkov and want to try this
Bro what is your post FX when using night vision please?
Good watch, I will try this.
This is really helpful actually, I should try this sometime.
This was awesome. Thanks
You sound like the bloke from @Horror Stories. I like it.
Great video. Earned my sub
Was doing quests on Resort Night Time, they were randomly running next to me so I just kill them all lol, no peeking, no hiding, they just wouldnt shoot
Its like I love the amount of teamwork amd effort it takes to fight the cultists and rogues but I hate the fact you basically have to cheese them to win :/ The duality of tarkov strikes agaon lol
so, i walked in shoreline, tried going east. the second i turned right next to the white-blue bunkhouse i see one cultist sitting, suddenly he looks at me - he wasnt even shooting. We stare at each other and i panicked af. loaded a mag of ap sx into his face then another sektant killed me lol. i guess its not for me
Yeah they are extremely hard to kill out in the open. Try barricading yourself in a room.
@@EULGamingYT they spawned before i got there unfortunately
I love how helpful these videos are, thanks for all your team does!
When labs first came out, we used do this in an office with the raiders.
i do have my own method but your is better.
I usually bring ADAR with warmage rounds and a big ass scope (x6 to x16) and snipe those group on East Wing from West Wing and reverse
Do video about open cultists like on woods
Resort is so easy ...
Thanks
Very good guide man I really appreciate the tips cuz I usually just avoid at all costs. Lol only thing I recommend is maybe putting the room numbers in your description
True but he did mention room 101
If I run into the cultists my strategy is to cry and run
Can u crack woods cultists? I love my night time woods raids but I just can't go near some areas because in imminent death
VoX_E has a really good guide for woods cultists. It's a long process, but it can be done.
@@EULGamingYT ohhh, cuz I can make money but I have to skip abandoned village unless I see ai scavs moving around. 10 raids and 0 pmcs with an average haul of .8-1.2 mil with skipping the best spawns for but coins. But need more data and more experience with woods cultists
Interesting that you say they don’t attack unless close, I got absolutely lit up from about 40 metres on Shoreline the other day by cultists I hadn’t shot at or approached. Kind of weird.
Another player probaly shot them before you arrived.
one was in a bush right next to you and u got too close or someone else disturbed them before you
Because his information is very and I mean very wrong in some terms, cultist have been programmed to generally hunt or follow you and will shoot you on site majority of the time if the Priest is with them
Yeah he's just plain wrong honestly.
Their loot is lit! Got a Taiga the other day. Easy 8m roubles
Thanx for sharing this, i was looking for a new way to hunt cultist cuz too many pmc’s interfere while hunting then on customs.
did like 7 raids in a row, didn't find any of them. Have they stopped spawning there?
does this still work this way for shoreline in patch 0.15?
"shoot ONE BULLET" proceeds to shoot 5 lol
Ty for the vid
My guy explained this like a creepypasta 💀
There isn't always 5 cultists, I've had raids (last wipe and this wipe) where 4-5 cultists spawn.
Do they spawn in offline, i wanna learn how they work in order to farm them
"They will not fire or chase you unless you come within just a few meters of them" not even close to my experience. They 100% will. Atleast the cultists on customs anyway
I ran into them on Customs. I didn't realize what they were but they just silently moved around me until I shot first. Just got all my gear back today lol. now that I know I"ll handle that differently.
Amazing. 💯📈
could you impact nade multiple cultists that spawn next to eachother instead of that first shot to eliminate more than 1 at the start ?
I imagine you could, though idk how protected you'd be from return fire. Depends on where you can reliably throw the grenade.
u making me scared never felt so uneasy lol
I hope they can find a way to patch in counter actions to combat this
Can you try woods and tell us if it's do able?
Im too much of a noob to attempt that. Fun to watch tho! 😊
Holy crap, FNAF in tarkov!!??!!
Wow & first 🥇, wish for review video about 3rd Tarkov book soon
Looks like a solid money farm
I know if me and the boys would do this, we would be distracted by the laser dots
what happens if you see a pmc spinning botting the cultists
I thought your surefire way would involve the Surefire suppressor but you used an AK
Major creepypasta vibes on this one
Epic dude.
tarkov is straight up a horror game
