I still own a CS721 that I bought in 1978 and I've only had to do a couple of minor things to it in all of that time. It still sound great to this day.
66 2/3 makes for some fun times. I have used the bumblebee several times, but now just avoid the 840s. I harvested post clips from a junked dual to slip over the posts. 1 Dual can provide countless parts for other projects.
Thanks for the great info my SM840 motor runs to fast . Any ideas on where to purchase the repair kit for 60hz problem. TEX.TELECHROME does not exist any longer ?
I had a Dual model CS721. A higher grade with a Shure V15 Type III cartridge. Super quiet, very accurate speed. To me, best T/T ever for the price.
