Santa. Good idea with the gym. I always thought you were far too skinny for your height. In my educated opinion you should aim at 90+kg. Also the sooner you start lifting using multijoint exercises like squats, deadlifts, weighted pullups and military press the more weight you will gain. Do not wait or you will get fat from excessive calorie intake.
not to be rude i've been in the gym for more than a year and ur advice is awful ur not educated at all u sound like a newbie who just entered the gym and watches tiktok a lot, focusing on big exercises like u said isn't gonna gain him weight my guy and they're not even that important for gaining muscles don't get me wrong they're great for strength and beneficial for joints but too risky u can get a life injury doing squats or deadlift and it's not a pleasant experience , weight is determined by the amount of calories you take at his height his calories go to is like 3500 ckal from healthy sources for a lean bulk, also this dude i bet he can't do pull ups forget weighted pull ups he should just stick with pull downs at the moment it's a great exercise it simulates the pull ups , i would recommend for him to drink tons of water , eat healthy food and have discipline weight lifting isn't a hard or complicated sport he just need to follow a split like a ppl split and stick with it and he will see gains that's for sure and at the start of ur journey u shouldn't be doing these exercises lmao and yeah this dude in the comment is spitting non sense
