Switzerland's most beautiful hike?

The Murgsee-Wanderung (Murg Lake circular hike) straddles the border between the cantons of St. Gallen and Glarus. It is a relatively easy 15-km loop hike, involving a total of about 880 m elevation gain, and takes about 4 hours for a relatively fit adult. It features three lakes; two close to the saddle pass, "Murgseefurggel", and a lower one approximately a kilometre to the east. Because its highest point at Murgseefurggel is under 2000 m, this hike is extremely verdant and lush. Close to Murgseefurggel is a mountain hut/restaurant ("Murgseehütte"), where one can enjoy a well-earned beer and eat freshly caught lake trout (you need to pre-order!) to make this the perfect hike!
