In my experience it's pretty good. It's definitely better at detecting motion that moves across the camera than straight towards it (and eufy mentions this in their documentation) so keep that in mind. Also they don't recommend mounting it over 10' high or below 6' so that could be a factor in some of the other reviews. Hope that helps!
@@TopHomeowner You would think that Eufy would make their security camera's dectect motion when ever there is any kind of movement! whether or not it's straight forward or across the field of view. What good is a security camera if it misses an event like an intruder or if a package was delivered. I would be embarrassed as a company to admit that their security camera can't detect straight forward motion very well. I think Eufy has done alot of good things with their camerea's. But until they fix their motion dectection. I won't be a buyer at this time. I will wait untill they get this problem fixed, I want to thank you for your replies and for your informative UA-cam channel.
Forgot to mention how horrible the motion detection is on this camera! You literally have to be within 15-20ft max from the camera for it to detect motion. I have 4-s330 all of them properly installed and tested repeatedly for motion detection and they all fail at this one major key for security cameras. All the other features are great. I would absolutely not recommend this camera for the money unless you live in a townhouse.
I have the same problem. People can walk around in my front or backyard without being recorded. It is only when they get close to the cameras that they get recorded. My cameras cant see movement that is more than 15 feet away
@@SpookiePower so I did finally get mine to work. I initially had them set at manufacturer requirements as far as angle position/height. I did adjust the camera angle just a few degrees up so it sits more level and that corrected the motion detection problem I was having give it a shot.
I thought your video on S340 had better license plate clarity at 40+ feet away, even though that camera is not 4K. Would you agree? And any idea why that is?
Is it possible to add this camera remotely? I am not at home but I need to reset the camera
is there a lag to this system
How is the motion detection? I read in some reviews that it isn't very good. What's your experience?

@@YippeeKyyay is that still working okay? Thanks,
@@MH-dj5im yes everything is working great

Yes, I agree. It's because the S340 has a separate zoom lens so even though it's not 4K it looks clearer at a distance.
