  • Episode 4: Wellesley, MA
This week on Home, Life & Style we experience the beautiful Boston suburb of Wellesley Hills through the eyes of the people who call it home. Join Host Parker Kelley for a personalized tour of a renovated 1938 Royal Barry Wills Cape and hear from some of the key players involved in its renovation. In this episode, Parker and homeowners Susan and Jim visit Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Elm Bank and take a bike ride on some local trails. Parker also meets up with Restaurateur/Chef David Becker at Juniper to chat about some of the new things David has going and pick up some delicious bread and cheese from Wasik’s Cheese Shop. TJ Douglas, the owner of The Urban Grape, stops by to mix up some cocktails and pair the wine, and the show culminates with a fabulous dinner party in Susan and Jim's beautiful kitchen.

Hey, I'm the gardener for these folks and I live in a run down shack on their property. But don't get me wrong, they treat us peasants real good. We don't have running water or electricity, but we can sometimes watch TV through the windows from outside. As long as we stay out of sight and out of mind, our payment is just being so close to such wealth and luxury. These people throw some pretty wild parties too though and we get the scaps from their leftovers, so it's all good.

raised in wellseley, left wellesley, and thank you - this was the nail in the coffin - will never return to wellesley unless my bad deeds herals ol Satan hisself to drag me back there screaming.
this quaint, picturesque model of white privilege and glassy eyed, down home apathy brought up breakfast and lunch in a big honking mess all over my po-dunk front porch.
