- This is the Aussie Vocal Coach Singing Exercises for an Awesome Voice vocal workout for Female Singers. The vocal exercises in this routine are some of my most effective exercises to develop strength, agility and vocal range. Each exercise will start in a alto range and ascend into mezzo and soprano vocal ranges. Make sure you sing in a range that is comfortable for your voice. Exercise 2 was a bit of a challenge, but truly I enjoyed all of them. I am working on strengthening keeping my voice in shape; especially since I haven’t been singing much lately. So I’ve started doing this workout to help keep my voice strong. Thanks Ian for putting these exercises together. Using your voice exercises have really been helping to improve my voice. ❤️

big fan, i have a question, i’ve developed my chest voice quite a bit but how do i know when to start moving on to using head voice? they say that if you start using head voice too early you could potentially lose notes on your chest. so how do i know when i’m ready ? i’ve expanded my chest far enough to where i’m almost in a mix voice at high notes.
Hi Amali! I'm not sure if you ever got your question answered, but I've been a singer for more than 20 years and I have found The opposite to be true for me. I have lost a few notes in my chest voice because I didn't go to my head voice sooner. In other words I would strain my voice to stay in my chest voice, when I should have been going to my head voice sooner. So now my head voice is stronger than my chest voice. My chest voice is still strong, it just doesn't last as long as it used to.
