Only real ones know how good these are for detailing and corner cutting…these aren’t meant to do the whole haircut. You put your guides in with your magic clip or whatever clipper it is, and the way I cut hair I detail my cuts with my fast feeds and END with the fast feeds most importantly because it doesn’t cut so much off. Same thing with guidelines, if you ever feel unconfident when blending, you never really have to worry about pushing lines further with fast feeds. The soft sound and the crunch make the job very very satisfying. This is the clipper that truly puts YOUR signature on YOUR haircut in my opinion. I’m not really a fan of the lever opening so much because I’m so used to the original but I feel like a ceramic blade on these will definitely mimic the corded version. I feel like every brand is trying to come out with a Andis Master type of clipper now with the levers opening up to a number 1. Oster should have released them so that it opens up like corded version, and add in an extra bracket so that it opens up like a Andis Master.
Bruh, the fast feed, BOTH versions, open to a 1. And the original one was created for all around barbering, hence it having the 2nd most powerful motor. The pivot motor is an absolute beast.
That’s exactly I used the fast feeds for the past 15 years. It’s not made to cut bulk. It’s the best for detail work. The only way to explain it is it’s efficient at detail work. I can’t explain why or how but it does exactly what I want first try every time. Other clippers I always find myself going over the same spots, using different corners, different angles.
People complain that it opens up too much. That doesn’t make sense because people buy extension brackets for that very reason. It will get a little getting used to, but in a good way. You won’t need the .5guard or the 1.5 at all! Skilled Barbara can get away without using the one as well. I’ve done it. Do you know how much time you save and I having to put different guard’s on?. It’s rhetorical
I don’t appreciate that they have horrible customer service. In less then 9 months I have had to send them in twice for battery and motet problems. Andis is still my go to Wahl Wahl would follow. Super upset
This was painful to watch. Hearing some dude who had to buy a screw driver from walmart talk about "slick engineering". Let me explain whats happening: Your typical corded clippers use AC power from the wall. There is a shit ton of power coming from the wall those clippers can use. And, since the current is alternating already, they just hook up the current to a solenoid and it makes the pivot vibrate back and forth. This can be turned into a cutting action by your clipper heads. A cordless clipper has a battery in it. That means it can only supply DC current. Firstly, DC current cant be used by a solenoid to go back and forth without some very bulky and expensive power electronics. So instead, they put that DC power into a DC motor. Most other clippers have made special blades to work with rotary motors. HOWEVER, Oster wanted you to be able to use your existing pivot motor based clipper heads with a rotary motor. So they engineered that pivot mechanism to convert a rotary motion to a pivot motion. Useless this mechanism is hidden inside the clipper heads of cordless clippers. When it comes to power: Cordless clippers will almost always be far less powerful than their corded counterparts. There is just far more useable energy coming out of your wall than you could ever fit in the handle of a reasonable sized clippers. If you tuned your cordless clippers to draw the same type of power from your battery as you do from the wall, you would kill the battery in 5 minutes. The only way you could get the same power and a reasonable run time would be to use battery packs the size that are used in cordless drills, and no one wants that. Anyway, thanks for opening it up to take a look.
You wrote a novel to explain something so simple man. It’s more painful to watch or read content from someone who doesn’t understand their viewers. Have you seen the products my company has engineered?
I think about the engeninering chris. I have made some impossible quote things happen. Fx3 blade on 707. How to use an OG blade on fx3 without a mod. How to perfectly gap with Neodymium magnetics
I keep hearing it opens up too much. Might take a little getting used to but imo its a good thing. Opens up more options. The more it can do, the more you can do. Also the black ones are fly but i got no problem with the burgundy. I hear bad reviews for the weirdest reasons....from the box to color. I can't wait to try em out for myself.
Drive pin and cam follower on 1000. Corded Oster classic 76 and corded fast feed build quality has always been impressive. Cordless fast feed is nothing short of oster's reputation.
Hi Chris thanks for the video, I have a question because I have a problem with my Oster fast feed. I've just bought it, send it from USA to France. And when I turned it on after charging, it started but after a couple of seconds red light appears . I don't understand, but if a have to change the battery where can I found it because I can't send it again to USA Oster service and waiting etc ... Can you help me please?
Is anyone wireless fast feed make a rattle when power off and they shake the clippers slightly. It feels like something is loose inside. They are straight out of the box?
I am a user of the original fast feeds. I would be curious to see the motor of the original fast feeds and do a comparison of what the difference is between an original pivot motor vs a rotary motor with pivot action. I kind of have an idea but to physically get the breakdown would be an awesome video. I like this Engineering breakdown style video for those of us who are curious about these kind of details. It makes me respect this clipper more knowing that they did something like this to help it work as a cordless clipper. I am a fan of the pivot style motor and I feel the pivot motor clipper is a more forgiving clipper, meaning you don't have to be as precise as some other clippers and I can do the best fade with this style of clipper. So even though I don't like the new body or that new lever, if it still cuts like the original fast feeds that would sway me to consider getting them. I really hope they can find a way to modify them and put the original fast feed body on the cordless, I think if they had found a way to do that I would not have hesitated to get them.
For a low budget I would recommend a wahl magic clip andis slimline pro li and an andis foil shaver. If you have a bit more to spend you definitely can’t beat the gold fx trimmer from babyliss also their fx3 shaver and for clippers wahl seniors are reliable and can’t go wrong with them. I personally enjoy the style craft ergo and rebel.
all cordless clipper are garbage...i dont know why ppl love them ...Magnetic motor will last forever because it moves the blade by magnetic waves..not like a rotary motor that needs moving parts...therefore it will eventually gives out depending on the usage..

That's why I got a pair of classic 76 on the side for bulk work
@@Opi0id-z Fact. 76s are hands down the best out there for taking bulk off. You could mow a lawn with those.

People just try to find something to complain about, it’s ridiculous😒
Who's Barbara? Is she a good barber?
I’m happy with them!
So when are we getting a tomb 45 clipper👀🔥
Thank you for this video!!! Good to know what’s going on inside
Who cares

O-rings on the motor to reduce vibration was genius
Mine last like 10 min into a cut before dying. After a 12 hr charge. 1st cut of the day. I cant be the only one.
Yup and never worked again

That extra throw is ideal for self cuts.
Had these for about a year and half. Will not turn on. Charged all night, green light lights up then flashes red. Brutal for the price.
Same thing
video quality super choppy🙁🙁
Excited for the next video, can't wait to see you actually try them out

Pivot motor means lower blade speed but higher cutting power! 👌🏼💈 💯 Approved
I would like to see a comparison between these fast feeds and 360 jeezy custom fast feeds. Please and thank you!
Can you point me in the direction for a replacement battery? 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Do we have specs yet?
Note the Andis Master also opens about the same
That was very smart of you to inspect the inside to find something very innovative.
Make a better battery for the cordless fast feeds brotha🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice to see the in side of the clipper. Now were you able to put back all the pieces to the clipper.
Let's go, can't wait!!
We need a tomb 45 battery for it 🔥

How many rpm’s have the clipper?
Are they worth buying how they cut are they good for bulk
I’m not going open the parts i can see it will mess up to putting back 😂
a new camera would be dope for your vids
This probably why it took them a while to get them out that’s because they were trying something new that would take a while
These parts are in other clippers they have
They had many clippers with this pivot action
i thought my mind is going crazy with that bg sounds xD
Look bro.. I really appreciate your curiosity. Thank you
Nice seeing a different aspect of them
I can't wait ... mine is on its way😉
Nice. Do an unboxing of them.

Amazon is usually months behind when it comes to new clippers. You’re better off getting it from your local barber supply or an online barber supply.
I’m never gonna open these again 😂
Definitely different, I like that
Wait till I get my hands on these yo👀
Can’t lie. These are nice. People hating
But, they are expensive tho.
Nice... but are they worth it. Don't look like anything special
Same as a detachable
Wsup Bossio!!? These fast feeds are wack bro!!
The leveler travels too much so is easy for a rookie barber to get lost when blending!!
