Ramgarh-Mukteshwar is known to be a tourist, backpackers favorite destination.
Peaches, plums, pears, apricots, apple and many more fruits orchards can be found around Ramgarh block of Nainital District and are fully ripe by around end of May to mid June, apple season starts from July to August. There is no greater pleasure than to just pick juicy and fresh fruits from the branches and have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Everyone should have Fruits in a balanced diet and for good reason and healthy body. Peach of Ramgarh looks like an apple, it is also very beneficial for health. Peach is rich in carbohydrates, protein, minerals and fiber. There is a lot of vitamin C which acts as an anti-oxidant and helps in increasing the body's immunity. Apart from this, potassium is also found in peach which is a panacea for kidney diseases.
Ramgarh is at a distance of around 325 kms from Delhi.
