I hear ya on the roll casting and usually roll cast during the catch/keep season when there are more fishermen around, but couldn't resist getting some full swings in as no one was around :)
I actually prefer roll casting, it's a shorter execution and highly beneficial when there's no room behind you. Overhand casting nymph rigs can tangle them.
Nice video! I'm getting the itch to get out on the streams with the camera soon!
this is one of the best places I ever fish. love this park!
Like your style...similar to mine...so much for "delicate presentation"...little jerks catch 95% of my fish with dries...
Your line looks weightless. What weight are you using?
2lb-4lb test, but now buy 6x tippet as I've graduated to sink line fly fishing.
Ok thx
Damn I wanna fish here
Best decision you'll ever make. In my opinion it's easily the best trout spot in missouri for stocked trout
I live in lebanon. This is cool to see!!
Nice video, I can't wait to see the next video;)
Thanks! I consider myself still a novice fly fisherman and here's the link to the 2nd video ua-cam.com/video/BWGMS8RBxxs/v-deo.html
Look up roll casting. You don't need to do a full swing when using an indicator.
