This is absolutely amazing, i really love to see that they're adding things like these. feels like gamemaker has been missing a lot of "standard" stuff for a long time.
Every update in this release is awesome and tags was an excellent surprise for me, especially the fact that it isn't just for organizing the Asset Browser/Resource Tree but can be used in code as well. I'm really happy about that.
Thank you for the explanation. These changes improve some things, mainly I liked the colors and abbreviations in the blocks more, this makes the flow cleaner and less messy. =)
I know this is strange, typically I find people with an Indian accent very difficult to follow😂, but he actually does a very good job at thoroughly explaining everything in a very comprehensive way. Far better than most people I’ve ever watched. Nice video!
Nice! These new changes look great. The room order menu seems a bit redundant to me, and I can see myself getting confused between rooms and room order, but I'm sure there is a good reason for it being there. I love the new colored assets, and the possibility to make a custom grid in the room editor. Thanks for making this video. I'm looking forward to more :)
Do you know How to fix the Really annoying error where No sprites nor objects show up, and only just a black screen is shown No matter which room it is or how big the sprite is

There's nothing wrong with GML but it's lackluster in some regards compared to other programming languages, but I hope they keep improving it in the future

Man, perfect timing for me because I'm just getting started. I cam sharpen up on 2.2 tutorials and switch to 2.3 when it goes to prod.

On 2:35 you could select several rooms you want to add by changing the counter at the bottom of adding a resource.

That sounds like a weird error. Does that happen on newly made projects?
Wow... I love the function of coloring asset. If gms2 image editor changes like aseprite, it will be a really great 2d game making tool lol.

What's wrong with gml? I haven't been coding that long in it, but I kinda like it.
